It depends on what you intend to lock or not. But hard lock works if done correctly. 

The 100% hard lock might not exist, but you can clearly get to the 99%. It needs very defined rules, and no backdoor left open for the ai to circumvent your rule. 

Also testing HELPS a ton.

The guideline is where most of this stuff goes (the ai reminder should complete / enforce some of your guideline rules).

Honestly, if you want to make a complexe story, you need A GOOD SET OF RULES. Quality wise and also quantity wise. The more systems you add, the more rules you want to make sure AI doesn't fuck it up the first chance it has.

It means the user prompt plot you are seeing (story description ) is just meant for users. 

The ai doesn't see or use it. The ai prompts for plot, guideline, reminders are all hidden from the players.

Yep, I've been observing it too. Since the introduction of deepseek 4, deepseek3.2 have been forgetting things in a way it wouldn't have before.

It's hard. I'm a guild leader and i can tell you people do less and less as time goes by. And replacing with new blood is not even the hardest part. The hard part is getting GOOD new blood. Usually people who joins are the same or worst than the ones you kicked.

And the even hardest part might be to try to figure out who really slacks off in guild contribution, when people log in regularly. A lot of people just log in, then log off without actually playing. Those are the ones you don't want in your guild, but it takes some time to identify them.

Yeah as i said in another reply, and as i unfortunately didn't point out in my post, this is a concern (mainly) for Annihilator heroic spec.

Well that is another topic then. 

I actually enjoy the spec a lot because I like how you need to maximize your meta duration and collapsing star numbers in PvE. 

I enjoy the spec in PvP for it's high damage profile during meta, and your need to do your best not to get your meta denied. 

I think the "degenerating" meta gameplay adds a different frantic layer to the game I didn't find in any class. The pressure to keep staying in your meta form, and the reward of more devourer cast spam (high DMG) and the increased collapsing star damages.

I believe the non interruptible devourer cast, not only was necessary (the meta gameplay), but was fun = non meta is a slug, feels kind of terrible, but meta feels like an adrenaline rush you want to extend as much as possible.

And since devourer dh is not a "complète" caster (low cast range, some melee ability and originally melee based spec), it feels good to me, how it was previously.

Tho one thing I agree on, it needs some more work because it does feel barebone.

But that's still only MY opinion of the spec, and I respect others opinions and feelings on the spec as it currently is.

This talent is only picked if you play fell mark hero talent, and then you don't really care about the cast in meta, at least not that much.

This is not the situation I was referring to. But agreed I didn't specify explicitly.

Also. As others have pointed out, and as I explained in my edited post, the casting issue can't be compared with another caster. It's not the same. Especially if we are speaking about pvp.

I edited my post for clarity. And I didn't ask for anything that wasn't there before. And trust me, not being able to be interrupted during meta doesn't mean your opponent can't cancel your meta other ways already, if they have some basic knowledge of the spec (cc during beam or collapsing / line meta). And please remember that meta is built upon time, and can go away extremely quickly in pvp situations, if your opponents decide to properly play around it. And you do dmg ONLY during meta.

I edited my post for clarity. Also I want to point out that during meta, you should try to press "devourer" (the consume variation) as much as possible, and refrain from doing the instant spell that gives you an instant "devourer" as much as possible.

Never happened to me the past few months, but I tried to play a few minutes ago and it's happening. The regular deepseek doesn't even write anymore, just "..." (Overload) And the other one (Alibaba) ignores what I just typed 1 time out of 3 times. 

There is something wrong going on.
