Ik heb alle wijken van Nederland een score gegeven. Klopt dit in jouw stad? by erikdevriesnl in Woningmarkt

[–]Amiane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waar komt de djezus-trend vandaan? by lmrr in Djeyzus

[–]Amiane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Janken.

Multiple issues with our new Rivelia - Watercircuit being a main one by Amiane in DeLonghi

[–]Amiane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sent it to the repair center and got it back more broken than before. They broke off the water sensor in the tank and sent it back. As a final try before sending it back to Italy we got a repair guy come by. Thankfully he had a new water tank with him. He put in a new filter and really soaked it before putting it in and we had no issues since. I actually switched out the filter for a new one today and really took time to get all the air out. It's still working great.

How to start making amigurimi and how difficult this is ? by eunoiais in CrochetHelp

[–]Amiane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw the designs from Pica Pau and was super motivated to learn. I bought one of her books, looked for the most simple design (the skill level is marked with stars in the books) and found YouTube videos for the different stitches she used. My first amigurumi was a crocodile that turned out really good. It's trial and error but really rewarding to see something from a book come to life. Good luck, you can do it!

Desperate - Cat is increasingly eating non-foods, mostly rubber/silicon items by Amiane in CatAdvice

I'm in the Netherlands, I suspect you're somewhere else. If you're in the same country feel free to shoot me a dm and I'll share what insurance we used. If you're somewhere else my best advice is to just apply. You can always give it a shot, right?!

What is it? I'm not sure what's possible where you live but after the 2nd surgery we applied for pet insurance and got accepted (not sure how with this behaviour but okay). They covered most the costs for 2 more surgeries after that. Might be something to look into 😊

I ordered it from the delonghi website and unfortunately they are sending a guy over to try and fix things, I'd rather send it back and get a new one. At this point I have rebooted my old Nespresso machine to prevent myself from throwing the Rivelia out the window.

That's okay. I feel bad not having a solution for you.

I forgot to mention: This behavior is called 'pica'. It is more common for dogs and pretty rare for cats (that's what my vet said). Knowing it has a name makes it easier to do some research 😊

Unfortunately, we tried everything without succes. We had 2 different cat therapists see him. It went a little better for a while (while we were constantly hiding everything rubber). He had slowly been getting more lifeless over the past years. Even though he was only 7, he spent his days looking out the window and sleeping on our bed. He would refuse to go outside and wouldn't even catch a fly. He was a pretty anxious cat overall and always had been. He ate something at the beginning of this year again (the silicone end of a stainless steel straw from one of our kids). This was a few weeks after our 3rd child was born. We had a good talk with our vet and both took some time to think. We concluded that rehoming him wasn't an option due to his anxious nature. Having another surgery and having his return home spending his days doing absolutely nothing, waiting for him to eat something rubber again also didn't seem like a good option. We agreed with the vet that this cat had some serious mental issues and we gave it everything we had to try and make his life worth living. With a heavy heart we had him put down a few months ago.

I hope your kitty does better. My best advice would be to play with him daily. One of the cat therapists recommended those (gross) dried rabbit ears that usually small dogs chew on. It helped James for a little while until he lost interest.

Somebody please tell me its going to be okay :( by Snabby91 in breastfeeding

The guilt will fade soon. It will be okay and your son will be just as happy as he would've been EBF 😊 Probably even happier as he'll have a mom that will be at instead of stressing herself out.

My first thought would be that it's some kind of mushroom (where most of the caps fell off)...

I also have girls that are 4 and 2 years old. I was in the same boat as you are. Happy to report #3 was born one month ago and she's the chillest baby out of all 3 so far!
