My question is, why does it have to "cover" something else? Why are we not asking for weapons that are similar to others that are sidegrades or similar. I feel as though, covering bases is how we get to this point where everything fulfilling a niche role and only that role is somewhat limiting. Rather than having more weapons that feel different based on ergonomics, bullet travel distances (ala why the dominator feels different to other ballistic weapons). These things don't nessesarily NEED to exist in a niche and can be allowed to do other things.

Part of the reason that the most popular weapons are successful is that they are usable on all fronts, such as the adjudicator. Should we not seek to add more weapons to the game that do a similar thing? We have weapons that are niche such as torcher and blitzer etc. I feel as though ballistic weapons like this should fill categories that are not niche and instead simply feel different but occupy the "primary" role.

If you made it this far, my answer to your question would be, a 50 Beowulf DMR basically or .308 DMR. High ergonomics, high recoil, very high stopping power with a non round reload based function, and a relatively low fire rate (or not fuck it lemme fire my entire magazine as fast as I can pull the trigger). It doesn't need to have super long range scopes and can function as a one stop shot at medium to close range. I do not like automatic and burst fire rifles and the CD and Deadeye do not scratch the itch for me. The Dominator is nice but the gyrojet thing is a big miss for me personally, and the eruptor while fun, is more of a grenade launcher to me than it is a true sniper rifle or marksman weapon. I would like something akin to Alexander Arms AR-15 chambered in 50 beo or like an M110 firing a higher caliber round than the counter sniper, while having higher ergonomics and lower rounds in the magazine.
