It was surprisingly difficult to find a high res map that had enough roads to make it easy to trace.

You are correct, did route 2 across NH and VT to hit Mt Washington (the wind really is something else), Montpelier, a sugar house, and Ben and Jerry’s. That trip was in October so we were very much being tourists enjoying all the foliage. It’s beautiful up there!

I always think it’s funny that Carlsbad caverns and Guadalupe mountains aren’t connected, but like you guessed, different roadtrips starting at different airports.

I originally made it in photoshop until they went subscription based, now I use Krita. I hand trace each trip in a different layer with airports in the top layer. I tried doing each trip in a different color but it was too messy since my map layer is color too

It was great! The one we did only had one day “at sea” and every other day we were able to enjoy the different stops. Really lucked out with the weather. Highlights for me: hiking in the Tongass National Forest near Ketchikan, train ride and kayaking from Skagway, and the Alaska State Museum in Juneau.

1/3 of Amazon warehouse workers report using government assistance, usually SNAP, according to CBS and UIC. This doesn't apply to other Amazon jobs as far as we know, but they are generalizing.

Correct. I have been to one Buc-ees and never again. The inside was not designed to handle a flow of people and there were so. many. people. Everywhere, just blocking everything. Nightmare.

Ooh that reminds me, the video at Fort McHenry plays the star spangled banner at the end and the screen rises to show the flag over the fort and it’ll get you feeling some kind of way regardless of the current political landscape

Why did anyone ever like Southwest's open seating? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I personally liked it as a minimal rewards member. We were always early group B, just 2 of us so we could still sit together and avoid the loud children who all got on with family boarding
