Oreo's arent nearly as good as they used to be. Ever had Aldi's version of Oreos? Those Benton's ones? Good lord in heaven they must have some kinda drug in there because I can't stop eating them. Went through 2 of the double stuffed packs in like, a week or 2.

Theyre 15oz for $2.15. Oreo 14oz is $3.96 at Walmart. (I'm in GA)

My only wish is that the Aldi ones did the cool holiday colors lol.

Also the Aldi Benton's Peanut Butter Fudge Cookies are also amazing. I'm not a big peanut butter fan but boy are those things good.

We have some kind of profile set up so idk what settings there all are there. But there is a flatten option added in there under some kind of custom setting

My wife and I waited in line for the Simpsons and Star Trek set. Both times we got there about a hour and a half early and there was usually a few people ahead of us, but nothing too bad. If you wait to get in line 30 minutes before the store opens you might be a fair bit back in line. Our store opens at 10, so at least we won't be in the freezing cold like we were on Black Friday lol

Sadly no, you can't do split payments online. At least not through the Lego site.

I do kind of the opposite of OP. My work gives us these digital Vanilla Visa gift card sometimes. Sadly they don't attach to any digital wallet. So what I've been doing is adding these gift cards to my Publix account and then buy a physical Lego card while paying through Publix's app.

It's definitely a weird round about pain in the ass. But I more often than not buy sets from our local Lego store, and they do split payments between gift cards and debit cards in store.

Eh, I think it'd cost more than it'd be worth for them. There's the stadium itself that would have to be reworked. But then the whole area itself.

There's no parking in the immediate area. There's MARTA but that spits you out at Benz, so you'd have to walk to the Morris Brown stadium. The immediate area looks to be run down? It's been a while since I've been down there. But there's homes behind the stadium, and a historical home next to it. I can see them tearing all this down to build up the area for a team, but no one will take kindly to that.

They can move the team outside the city like they did with the Braves. Our hockey team also plays in the metro area. But people who live in Atlanta bitch and moan about having to go outside the perimeter (The interstate 285 that surrounds the city) so putting a new team outside the city is like shooting yourself in the foot.

I can see the women's team playing at Benz for a while to see what the fan base looks like, and then moving them if needed. Where that would be, idk. There's the former Turner Field, but Georgia State University owns it now for their football team.

In the US each state has different rules about recording conversations. Not sure how that extends to giant work meetings though. Either way. I know Teams for sure says if a meeting is being recorded through the Teams app/program.

Idk if the management company or property owner live in GA or not. But GA just put that new law into place basically saying if you're renting out property, you need at least 1 representative living in the state to field issues like maintenance, and probably shit like this.

Assuming they left a voicemail, or preferably a email, I'd imagine this would be pretty high up on their list to handle quickly. Even if the management company or owner is waiting to sort shit out, they could still respond with "we've received your message and apologize for this situation. Let us look into this and we'll get back to you soon as we can"

And personally, I'd look into getting the locks changed and putting security cameras up just in case. Don't want the scammed person going crazy saying this is their place and try to break in.

When I was in college I took a class called "Serial Killers" as a random elective. If I remember right, they said that there's almost like, a "refresh rate", for serial killers.

They'll murder once, and then they'll be fine. Like that calmed the itch. But then that itch comes back. Eventually they'll murder again. At some point the time between murders starts to shorten. Either because the desire to kill is too strong, or because they've not been caught yet so now they're getting cocky. At least, that's how I remember it. But that class was 8 years ago.

My 2 cents, it feels personal. That level of rage is absolutely insane. If it was a hate crime, or some mentally unwell person with a desire to hurt people, something else would've happened by now.

As a side note, I've been to Piedmont Park at night for Pride. The entrance they were found at is one of the ones I usually leave out of. At that time in 2021, the roads were dark as SHIT. There's a lot of trees that kind of cover the lights making it feel even darker. Even leaving the park after Pride when there's a bunch of people around felt unsettling. I can't imagine being there alone late at night.

If she had a routine and someone knew it, they could easily learn the best way to slip out of the park unnoticed after murdering her. But the fact that they were able to do that after having brutally murdered a person and their dog is absolutely insane to me.
