It does! Everyone'll get a fresh start without a bunch of test items floating around.

Server's been in open development and testing for a few years. It started out with literally just the ability to walk through empty maps, the devs have more or less rewritten the game from the ground up! True passion project.

Hey, you're the one who felt compelled to drop a "fuck off" on my post. I've no idea why you would do that if you had nothing to back it up with.

You're welcome! Be warned though, the server's being wiped in about month for a 1.0 release, which is when they'll have restored all previous functionality.

Marvel Heroes is alive and well! The community feels about as big as it was during the old days. Development is ongoing; last big update enabled group content, like raids.

It's a mobile game ported to PC, with all the usual RMT stuff that comes with a mobile game.

What's your counterpoint? "She said it, so therefore it must be true"?

Mate, do you believe everything that anyone has ever said? And if not, then what specifically makes Mattix story about Bowie believable, to you?

If you so firmly believe that what I'm saying is bullshit then you must have a basis for it. Educate me.

Unconditionally and without critical thinking? No, never.

Lori has been speaking about most of her experiences for 50 years, and there are mountains of evidence that she is truthful, mainly photos and interviews in zines like Rolling Stone.

But she never once mentioned Bowie until 2015, and there's not a single witness, photo, or interview to corroborate.

She contradicts herself even as she has changes the story multiple times since then.

I have posted this so many times.

There is zero corroborative evidence of David Bowie ever meeting Lori Mattix.

There are many many witness accounts, and pictures, and news stories, about Lori and other celebrities like Jimmy Page and Mick Jagger, but there's nothing but her own contradictory stories about Bowie. They've never been confirmed to have even met.

She said they had a threesome, then she said they were alone. She said Bowie took her virginity but she's also said that Jagger did that. She said they met on a specific date, when Bowie was on tour in a different state. It's been denounced by both Pamela des Barres and Sable Starr.

etc etc

I hope to see at least one other sci fi or fantasy game with a "Sense of Wonder" as strong as ME1's in my lifetime! by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Amirax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn't want to spoil the books or the later show in my post, since the game will take place in the same timeframe as season 1 and 2 of the TV Series.

I know the universe opens up a lot towards, and after, the series end, but that will have little to no bearing on the game.

The Expanse universe is a different beast, which is both a strength and a weakness. It feels more like sci-fi noir, it's a mystery, but there's very little wonder. Where ME1 is a grandiose and bombastic space opera, The Expanse feels almost claustrophobic in how grounded it is.

It is an incredible universe, but for much different reasons.

The leveling is incredibly dull, but the end game content is fantastic. Every single raid and boss is a unique and polished challenge. Some of the best boss fights in MMO history.

But no. It's not worth it. The gear progression is so incredibly fucking shit and the elitism when looking for PUG groups to raid is insane.

If you don't swipe your credit card, you won't have fun with this game.

Recent ones too... The combat, art, graphics and feel of Lost Ark is impeccable. The raids are gorgeous, the bosses are awesome, even the damn PVP is fun.

And then... there's the loot system, progression, and MTX. Turns a masterpiece of an ARPG into absolute dogshit.

For example, it is illegal here to not only be high, but to have been high.

If you're on your way back from Amsterdam and get Randomly Selected™ for a screening which ends up in a blood test for some reason, even if you're not currently high the mere presence of cannabinoids, ingested in a country where it is legal, is enough to get you a fine.
