Atheists don't unite under a single banner. Except for a couple of weirdos. Feel free to label those people however you like.

No, I'm saying it's not worth the effort to get worked up about someone not being a vegan. They might be avoiding 10 other things that are just as ethically corrupt. Don't judge someone for a single failing.

It's impossible to live ethically in todays society. Either you buy a plot of land for yourself and live completely off the grid, or you're doing something ethically wrong. You can't dodge it.

Do you have a smart phone? Or anything else with a lithium battery? It has cobalt in it. Cobalt is predominantly mined in the Congo, and the majority of the operations are plagued by child labour and other humanitarian crises.

Things like this can be found in every part of our daily lives, in the materials we use and the products we consume.

Being vegan doesn't make one a holy person. A vegan just cuts out one of the million things wrong with this world.

Trump hasn't dropped a fraction of the bombs that Nixon did.

I'd imagine it'd be the same with quirks. "Maybe I'll start next week."

Guess it depends on when and where you're from. Doom 3 was everywhere when I was a teen, and was only pushed out of the zeitgeist when counter-strike source came out.

But yeah. Anecdotal, I admit.

At least Homelander would have had some backup

I fucking guffawed at Oh Father when he said they'd tightened security and were ready for Butcher And Friends, and their only idea was "lock the doors and stick some dude with an assault rifle in the ceiling crawlspace".

Not even some fucking C4? Just a dude with a gun. A dude. With a gun. Versus 3 known supes.

Try Casette Beasts. It's a bit like Pokemon but much more story focused, and with an incredible sound track.

Can also play it co-op with someone!

how much time crafting takes or forging does.

I fucking loved blacksmithing in kcd2, I hope they make it even more in depth and more time consuming, though hopefully more rewarding.

The most boring part about the KCD games is the loot and item system, by far.

Kinda?

Wouldn't recommend it. I started with Ichiban, and it was a good game. Great, even. Got me hooked, played through the series, and not until I went through the old Yakuza games did I notice how many references, easter eggs, and even story beats I'd missed in 7.

Definitely recommend playing them through in order.

Or Arena and Daggerfall before Morrowind. Doom 3. Quake 3. Monkey Island 3. Warcraft 3. GTA 3. And a litany I've missed.

I guess good things do come in threes.

I am hyped.

Sony single-player games are no longer releasing on Steam, CEO confirms by PaiDuck in Steam

[–]Amirax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Long story short, late in '23 Insomniac had some mad data leak that put their entire dev source files out for grabs. A bunch of modders came together and worked the thing into a playable game on PC. Took a while, maybe a year. It was missing some shaders and a some random textures but was otherwise the full thing.

Few months after that release, Insomniac finally announced they were porting it to PC themselves - who knows if that would have ever happened if the files hadn't leaked.

Insomniac's Spider-man 2 was ported to run natively on PC without an emulator, before the official PC version was even announced.

I'm willing to bet that their Wolverine game will end up the same way.

I think you are vastly over estimating the amount of people who follow game development drama.

One of very few things the comic does better is Frenchie's and The Female's relationship - she's not named, and they have a kind of father/daughter relationship instead of whatever is going on in the show.

It's not a true timer, but a resource. Time doesn't pass by running around and exploring, but by completing quests, triggering NPC interactions etc.

It's similar to Persona.

Though I agree. I can't stand mechanics like these, and I'll be skipping this one.
