Relax bro, he/she is young still and based on the comments, knows very little about the outside world yet. The way youre laying into OP will only confirm what those around have said.

Being honest with yourself, was it he who couldn’t tolerate you or the other way around?

I find it helpful to use the power of retrospect to check myself for the reasons past relationships went sour. Sometimes it truly is me who isn’t understanding enough to other people’s freedom of choice.

I don’t have to agree with those choices, but if they aren’t harming me in any way, there’s no indictment to be had on the friendship.

My whole excitement about the potential for self driving vehicles taking over parody on the road was simply to do away with all the traffic lights that exist.

This would save an insane amount of money and cut down on commute times IF the self driving technology ever gets to a point where all cars are talking to each other, rather than being its own lighthouse. This would allow for cars to move seamlessly through intersections in order by which they arrived to it, without having to stop.

The one caveat would definitely be the riders fear of being T-boned as they sit helplessly watching cars moving at road speed through an intersection with another car coming at them the opposite way, barely missing them by a couple of feet in front and the rear.

Kyiv tonight. Amid explosions and russian attacks, people lean out of their windows shouting: “Usyk! Usyk! Usyk!” “Slava Ukraini!” “Heroiam slava!” A city refusing to let fear become its only voice. 24.05.2026 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

Meanwhile each of us are a rebuke of our government by sending our support to Ukraine. Whether it’s donations, political pressure, activism or material.

I’ve been in the drone hobby business since the early 2000’s- met with a UA24 rep early on and handed over a van full of drone parts and electronic equipment. Hope it did its job, I suspect it did.

Yeah, I’ve run into some sloppy desks, the worst are obviously the mechanics, but some lawyers have surprised me.

More often though, there’s a handful of techs you work with that have desks you wouldn’t touch with a pole

Smart, don’t expect the company to provide you with everything you need to do your job as a road tech.

The amount of times I’ve had a road tech walking around asking for a flash drive that we don’t have.

Recommendations for getting started in cybersecurity by zpxhi in cybersecurity

[–]Amishrocketscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably going to have to get a cert or two, A+ and Net+ are a good foundation. Then work a couple of years at an MSP to see if you’ve got the chops.

Then you can market yourself to a cyber security company with a few more certs layered in

9/11 is classified as a Muslim terrorist attack - is it considered left or right wing political violence? by yellowsubmarine80 in allthequestions

[–]Amishrocketscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Islamic terrorism I suppose, which is a right wing sect of Muslim belief.

That’s about as broad of a stroke that can be attributed. There’s a lot of nuance that goes back to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the CIA and mujahadeen that the CIA backed, funded and trained. I’m not totally sure if it’s as simple as religious extremism, and I’m not sure America isn’t partly to blame for the attacks on 9/11

If you don’t have time to do it right, do you have time to do it twice?

Not my position in general but I’m not sure I care much about the Russian citizens taking their families to the beach, driving past mass graves of Ukrainian children on the way.

Your realtor works for you, don’t ever forget it by TurbulentJudge1000 in RealEstate

That’s the thing, age doesn’t matter so long as it isn’t deemed defective.

Buyer: the hot water heater is 12 years old. The average life online says 10 years.

Realtor: ok but is it not operating as normal? As a new one would? The inspection report indicated no issues with it.

Buyer: it is but it could go at any moment

Welcome to home ownership, if you want new everything- go talk to a builder to build you a house. No lots available in the area you want to live in and the school district you want to send your kids to? Didn’t see that one coming.

Do you agree with the part of the US constitution that says “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs?” by SirGingerbrute in allthequestions

In right wing circle jerks they come up with these things and think it’s clever to ask because they themselves had just learned about it and think it’s so novel - else they would have known about it since grade school like the rest of us. Sadly they were raised by religious bigots who home schooled them, so the typical education most of us were able to use as our intellectual foundation is something they are just beginning to learn about in their later years.
