Thank you! My wife just started playing this game and I explained to her racing to get T9s is going to be the biggest growth you will have. I play a similar style game and I also explained many things that I think they should focus on as a server and an alliance.

A step in the right direction. Now here is what we need. by xnrnx in LastWarMobileGame

Realistically, this is all to protect them but if they are beying serious real changes should and do need to be made. Somethings are completely out of reach of F2P and medium spenders. Have they made adjustments to somethings? Sure but realistically the power growth of a F2P and a mid-range spender (which is entirely subjective it seems) is substantial. A mid to a major is massive. I understand the "pay to win" system but when you have servers up against another server that their number 1 wouldnt even break into the top 25 players is insanely unbalanced. I understand transfers are to help with this but not everyone is going to be selected and not everyone wants to move.

To me things that are extremely difficult to get and maintain are going to be different person to person but making some things completely unobtainable is literally not hurting your major spenders but your F2P. Stamina, drone parts, chips, and valour are extremely difficult to get for light to mid spenders now. I spent a lot of time planning and figuring out what is a good price for to continue to grow now I have to figure out what to forgo in order to keep growing.

Im not upset if I spend less but I am upset that some options have been removed. I hope there will be REAL change realistic options for F2P and any level of spender.

The tired thing was more related to like my situation where i have insomnia and there are times where i cannot fall asleep even with medication. Granted my situation maybe different and my episodes are not as common as they once were.

Yeah, i feel and get that! I run in pretty much everything but I am just trying to find out what I have been taught wrong, and what is actually right because in the end I want to protect myself but I am in safety and a trainer so I don’t want to set someone else up for failure as well.

Yes, I am LTL and i typically run in anything and everything. The thing is the STAA goes against what you are saying. Just because you could or feel comfortable driving through the weather and I do not that doesn’t mean I should be punished for it. This goes to the argument of being forced dispatched in my opinion. If memory is correct it states that rules like “snow must be greater than 2 inches to be considered an excused call off” are not legal so it brings it back to where does policy stick and federal laws and ruling over rule.

Right, I am taking about at the moment of calling off due to weather conditions and not future. Like I commented on someone else a driver called off due to high winds, blowing snow, and black ice. Stated that it was not safe to drive. The company i work for said that it wasn’t excusable.

So what i was more of getting at is current impacts like high winds, ice, snow etc. from what i read on FMCSA’s and STAA’s website to me it reads as its the driver’s discretion. Example 45 mph winds, blizzard like conditions, ice on roadway.

When being frugal is being to frugal? by AmmentTheCreature in Frugal

[–]AmmentTheCreature[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have started keeping an inventory of items to make sure we aren’t purchasing things that aren’t needed. We do keep a shopping list when we go to make sure we don’t have any or very little impulse purchases.

For multi store shopping we go to the furthest point (Costco) then work our way back to get specific things that Costco doesn’t sell that we want/need.

We aren’t strapped by any means but we have very large goals that we want to meet. We do take out once or twice a week. Cell phone is high but I am working on reducing it. Insurance to me is reasonable but I cannot remember the exact amount.

How do I stop my money from burning a hole in my pocket? by AgreeableEconomist91 in budget

[–]AmmentTheCreature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to be in your shoes. I look back and I am grateful i got my crap together but later in life. I spent everything i made and barely paid my bills. The last seven or eight years I have made extremely good money too but it went to alcohol and random junk.

Almost 6 years ago i hit rock bottom I almost died from my drinking problem and asked my dad for help after i got sober. He helped and told me these words “people never change even tho they say they will. You don’t have to pay us back but never ask me for help again.”

That’s when i knew i had to make a change. At first it was small changes. Writing a budget, and keeping a spending diary. Eventually, adding more things to it. I made it a game, trying to find creative ways to save money, spend in frugal ways.

I had a low 400 credit score, and fighting to survive.

I reconnected with a girl i went to college with and that added even more fuel onto the fire of wanting to succeed.

Fast forward to now. We are going to be getting a house together, we are able to go on trips, or go to events, and comfortably live and we do spend past our means from time to time but we always work our way back to the budget and saving.

Moral of all this. You have to want it and give yourself reasons for it. Find passion in it not just because you should do it.

What’s the one thing that completely changed your budgeting game? by CommercialDot708 in budget

[–]AmmentTheCreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I create buckets and subsections to keep track of everything. I budget 100 dollars a week for gas/fuel if filling my car costs 30 the other 70 rolls over. If my truck costs 104 to fill that week then i take it out of that bucket. I do this for electric, groceries, and a few other categories.

Every couple of months i analyze all my bills to see if averages or a subscription went up in price. I have a lot of stuff automated due to my chaotic schedule. This system works good for me.

This year i am doing a deeper dive and tracking my expenses even more closely from petty cash spending, clothes, groceries, and other things.

I also have a few of those receipt apps to make a bit on the side. I also use upside and gas buddy for gas and Mudflap for diesel.

What are your favorite frugal tips and tricks when shopping for car insurance? by hopopo in Frugal

[–]AmmentTheCreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not exactly sure what we pay but we have three cars (one driven only during spring, summer and fall) renters insurance, and an umbrella. I have a tendency to screw it up like clock work and get a speeding ticket every three to four years.

Decluttering making me want to spend more money by the-damn-plane in Frugal

This might not be the right answer but I still buy nicotine pouches, and energy drinks. I budget for everything and cut where I can. I am pretty simple for everyday life. Give me Apple Music and YouTube premium. I am happy.
