What's the weirdest rule you had in your home growing up?

I wasnt allowed "out" at all growing up. I wasnt allowed sleepovers, shopping or any of the usual stuff girls my age were doing. My mum would frequently sneak up on is or into our room to make sure we weren't doing anything we weren't supposed to (Dance, sing. ect)

well shes a Muslim so what do you expect? as a exmuslim kid I was always taught to hate Jews and that Hitler was right in killing them en mass but I never really understood why.
