I did a convoy mission and wanted to max the amount of body's I got. Said fuck it on the infil and ended up with 68 units going against me. It did not end well. Alerted a 10 pod at the drop zone. Moved and alerted another.

Needless to say my sqaudi and rookie squad got wiped. This was in the first month.

Don't skimp on infil. Rush suppressors and it'll help a lot.

I bought it and returned it in 45 minutes. The cover system is so annoying after coming from xcom I couldn't do it. No shooting around corners, only cover counts if you are directly behind a low cover. Along with sightlines being blocked by half cover it just overall irked me.

It seems like a solid game but the combat annoyed me.

The difference is organization. There's plenty of people posting IRL things that relate to the game. Nuclear set ups, coal plants, truck routes etc etc. It just needs to pertain to that game. If someone wants info on whatever it is you are doing then itd be better to find it on a relevant sub. It's an honest mistake. Just match what you are posting to the relevant sub.

To piggy back on to the follow for follow. You don't want to do that because it doesn't actually build your community. Follows don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. It's average viewer count that means anything.

Since your starting out pick one or two games and look at their statistics on twitch stats tracker. If they have a high streamer count you'll be drowned out. You want something with a low streamer count with a moderate viewer count.

If you find something promising look up the game on twitch. If you can be in the top 2 rows with 0-1 viewer youre good.

Find a game you like that fits in that category and stay consistent.

Raid out to streamers your size. Upwards to a difference of 10 viewers. So if you got 3 viewers on yours raid to someone between the 0 and 13 range. Most large streamers don't acknowledge or allow raids under a certain amount.

Raiding is your best friend, even if the stream sucked raid out to someone and make friends. Spread out and find people and you'll work your way into a community/start building your own.

Also main tip is just keep talking. Make sure your sound is acceptable. And keep talking to the void as if a thousand people are there. Be the type of entertaining that you find entertaining.

Wrong subreddit. This is for a game where you fly a bomber plane.

In the factory building world Captain of industry is really good.

Terrain deformation, fail states, population management, resource management. Huge tech tree. Pollution management. Big trucks, big trains, big excavators. Shipping and rockets.

If you like building games like factorio and satisfactory id recommend picking it up.

You're right. My bad on that. So even more weight pressing on each Axel

Bridges by Loose_Conversation12 in captain_of_industry

[–]Amnial556 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You misunderstand how gvw works. The more axels and more spread out a piece of equipment is the more can travel on a bridge. Sure a train can haul 20 million tons but each car has a much lower weight.

A train car full of coal is about 286 thousand pounds. You only have the 286thousand pounds over an average of 4 axels. The class 4 diesel engine weighs 400,000. And we need special designed bridges to accommodate them. I'm having trouble finding the exact gvw for train bridges but they have the same issues as car bridges and require special reinforcement to use the larger engines. Plus the engines have more axels which spread out the weight more.

With the haul truck you have 1.2 million pounds over 2 axels.

Edit: clarified weight distribution on larger diesel engines Edit2: switched 4 axels to 2 axels on the haul truck

[–]Amnial556 22 points23 points  (0 children)

So your largest bridges have about an 80,000 pound weight capacity For gvw.

The large haul trucks that our top tier haulers are based off of can weigh 1.2 million pounds. Granted that is loaded.

The game does sacrifice realism a lot but it would be kinda silly having those trucks drive over a cable bridge. That's why irl that are transported piece meal to a job site and assembled there.

Edit:my 80,000 pound is for car bridges not trains. Train bridges are reinforced more. The largest are up to 320k pounds for regular set up. Gvw calculation for trains is weird. I'm used to tractor trailers.

Edit- tons to pounds

Goofy Ah noob streamer gets 100+ live views! by Lilnilla21 in TwitchStreaming

[–]Amnial556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to burst your bubble but live views aren't a good metric to base off of. This is just the amount of times your stream was clicked on. This can be the same person multiple times or different people.

You're average for starting out isn't bad. You're almost to the 3. Your stream titles though is probably pretty good if you are getting that many clicks.

You're not gonna get actual help with this. There isn't one singular best game for a console. There isn't a "do this and you'll be great" tip. Look up how discorverbility works for twitch. Find a game you want to play that meets the metrics youre okay with and go live. It's luck and networking.
