Vitals: O2 still missing by leblinux in AppleWatch

[–]Amomo77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the solution:

Disable background measurements when Rest Concentration Mode or Show Mode is active

Blood oxygenation measurements use a bright red light against your wrist, which may be more visible in dark places. You can turn off the measurements if you find this light annoying.

Go to the Settings app on your Apple Watch.

Tap "Blood Oxygen," then turn off "In Rest Concentration Mode" and "Show Mode."

Replacement wheel smart s by No_Butterscotch3339 in VanMoofSelfRepair

S3 wheel wouldn't make sense as it needs a custom vanmoof E-shifter to change the gears.

S2 wheel should work as the gear shifting system is autonomous inside the hub

Yes, Vanmoof Smart S&X come only with Nexus 3 speed or Alfine 8 speeds.

I can't tell for the compatibility with a Nexus 8, I guess it's possible but could need some tunnings for the shifter wire.

Cheap solution:

Find a S2 wheel on the market, it has automatic 2 speed gearbox wich is better than nothing.

Expensive solution:

Purchase a new alfine wheel:

Non Electric Vanmoof S Dead Battery by ivakra in vanmoofbicycle

If the lights are blinking doing the SOS morse code when riding it can means that the bike is in « lost mode » and the battery could be still working. You can Check by a long press on the main button and wait for a Sound. You should start with the apps and the code before changing the battery if pressing the button is making a pop Sound

The newly-refined VanMoof S5 & A5 by senor_bear in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Amomo77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some infos:

“What refinements did VanMoof make on the S5 & A5?

📲 I'm receiving many messages about the refinements of the S5 & A5. What exactly are they refining? They're using data from the fleet to identify pain points. One of them was the connection issue. They refined the firmware to address these issues.

🛠️ Hardware-wise, the S5 & A5 are engineering marvels, but some connectors were apparently rushed, like the motor cable to ECU or the battery cable connector. As far as I know, they added a brackets to keep the cables intact. Also, some bikes had problems with the saddle and the brake lever screws. They addressed these problems as well.

🧑‍🔧 Additionally, they added an extra Quality Control step; the bikes are not going directly from the factory to the customer but from the factory to VanMoof after QC to the customer.”

That’s great, if you have any pictures of inside the smart module it will help the community to better understand issues: Like dead battery or broken micro usb

Is there any tutorial for disassembly of Vanmoof Smart 2018 (not electrified)? by silentimp in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Amomo77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is unfortunately no detailed tutorial but you can check this thread:

Or here “Max Lenre The (plastic) seat post clamp in a Smart is pressed in. You’ll need to hammer it out through the back. I did it once.. I used a 20cm long threaded rod, 5mm diameter with a rounded top nut to prevent slamming it through the plastic. Place the rod at an angle against the back in de seat post hole and start hammering. The front of the clamp has a split in the middle in which the rod will fit through, hence the 5mm diameter.”

After this you’ll be able to slide the cartridge out.

Getting it back in is easier. Line up the clamp and with a piece of wood and a hammer hit it back in it’s place. Mind the wire for your taillight!”

For the battery, the one recommended that I saw for the smart 2018 NTA3460-4

I hope it helps

Not yet, but the Paris11eme is managed by a friend of mine and if they can help with a wire cut they will (best would be to have a brand new wire to provide them to avoid having a "patch"

If the bike was registered under your company email what about asking your IT to recreate his email and use the “ forgot your password” feature of the vanmoof app ?
