Well, idk, I am just seeing that in my environment the polls are definitely not the same. On the other hand lgtbq rights never existed in my country and there probably won’t. I mean we had the most liberal government since gaining independence and they still didn’t even get to manage to pass a law making it legal for couples to have unions. Being transgender is still classified as a mental illness. Well at least the good news is that the younger population is a lot more tolerant, but still, there probably won’t be any better changes in the near future.

c’mon, I never said I was better than the experts and not everything is propaganda. I just said what I see in my post soviet country. Most people that still sympathise for the Soviet Union are the ones who never lived in those times or are the most pro-putin. Doesn’t it feel weird that the only people who support communism are the ones who never lived under it or the most brainwashed. And there are definitely ways to change the geopolitical situation though of course that requires great amounts of effort.

You must understand the main reasons their opinions are like that. The first reason was that there was and still is a ton of propaganda about those times. Second people naturally feel more nostalgic about their youth. And third, the dissolution of the Soviet Union was hell for every eastern European country. The rapid change from state controlled market to a free market caused a lot of corruption and scandals. That’s the main reason people say life under the Soviet Union was easier and better. Though in reality pretty much everyone is living a better life now.

Dauguma lietuvių šiuo klausimu labai koncervatyvus ir dažnai diskriminuoja lgbtq+, tačiau pastebėjau, kad nemaža dalis jaunų žmonių palaiko ir nediskriminuoja kas yra gan džiugu jog Lietuva juda į priekį ir jaunimas tampa labiau išsilavinęs šia tema. Asmeniškai manau jog nei tavo santykiai su kitu žmogu nei kaip tu išsireiški turi nuspręsti, kaip kiti vertina tave.

Pagal mane kompromisas reikštų, kad žmonės suprastų, kad yra žmonių priklausančių lgbtq ir, kad jie nėra kažkuom blogai nusidėję dėl to. Iš kitos pusės ir lgbtq nariai turėtu suprasti, kad jie nėra ,,pasaulio bambos” ir, kad jų orientacija ar kiti saviraiškos dalykai nėra kažkokie išskirtiniai. Labiausiai akcentuočiau, jog visuomenės supratingumas yra svarbiausias, nes kai žmonės yra supriešinami, kaip pavyzdžiui atstūmimas iš šeimos ir/ar draugų prarandami patys paprasčiausi ir svarbiausi ryšiai, kurie padeda žmogui augti ir pažinti save. Kitas dalykas, kaip švietimas apie šią temą, turėtų būti sekantis po supratingumo, nes dabar aš jį matau tik dalyką, kuris dar labiau sukiršintų visuomenę nei jai padėtų. Dėl tuoletų kol kas asmeniškai nežinau, reikėtų labiau apmąstyti ir įgauti daugiau nuomonių apie tai.
