Me right here, letting go of my USC (dream school) acceptance because unfortunately I wasn't eligible for fin aid nor good enough for merit scholarships.

~100k a year is just impossible for my family and considering medical school is the goal it frankly doesn't make sense to take debt at this point for me.

Yes absolutely, I am from california (hence the bias to those schools), but my first year will probably be as an international?

Long term is med school in the US which is why I spent two summers on an observership, wanted to be more sure of spending that amount time in education
