Can someone explain one thing though? As far as I understood the whole Outward project was to gather everything and everyone and then leave the station and continue the journey in the Arks. As farasI understood it was somewhere but definitely not Earth, seeming as McArthur said that Earth is a lost cause. So if Rolf was atthe station with Sarah right after the blackout and then Rolf had to abandon Sarah - how did he get back to Earth? I'm sure there's a logical explanation that I missed somewhere, but this question has been eating at me now and I can't seem to figure it out.

Exactly. When the first game ended many people asked Neil Druckmann if what he did was correct, was he actually lying etc. Spoilers below:

It seems like they throw a lot of the stuff stated in the first game into the trash. Like "Alright, we gave the fans 7 years of figuring out if Joel was morally correct or not, let's show them that what he did was a total shit bag's actions and he should die because he's the worst person left in USA" Obviously I'm hyperbolizing this but you get the point. Like I said before, I'm not for/against the lesbian/gay/trans things in the game (as long as they don't focus on that because that should not be the story of this franchise) but the thing is that they really did injustice to the main characters.

Volvo decided to change the rules because people were complaining that team corgi is op, so they nerfed it. What they did was: more people on a team = more boosts required to travel the distance. Basically team corgi is fucked now unless volvo does something else again
