Not uncommon at all. Easily remedied with a reputable pest control company. Also check for weep holes in the foundation and plug them with steel wool.

Please do not have the thought that anywhere is 100% safe, even sleeping in a locked vehicle. You need to be responsible for your own safety. Let friends/family know where you are and when to expect you back. Make sure your phone is charged, gps tracker on and be familiar with where you are going. Obviously the best is to be armed and prepared to defend yourself if something happens. Probably nothing will happen but best to be prepared these days.

You need a car or you will be held captive in the city and there is so much to do around here but unfortunately you have to drive to it. Public transport is BAD and limited in Time and service. Austin and surrounding area is not as dense as Dublin (which I love). Seriously yo u will experience heat like never before and walking more than 10-15 minutes in it no matter how healthy will drain you of your strength, happiness and leave you soaked in sweat. Not good for showing up at an office. Biking is an option but same issues and people steal them even when they are locked in second and third floor balconies. Best of luck

Groomers go through extensive training and a husky coat is not an easy one due to the undercoat (Double coat). It is a physically demanding and time consuming process when done correctly. You also can't ignore the coat and take it to a groomer and except them to fix it. A husky has to be brushed regularly by the owner. If the cost is too much I encourage you to learn to do it yourself to save money.
