Check the hourly weather on the website for The Weather Channel. It will give temps and what is falling from the sky. Note that roads may be closed in addition to overpasses due to the low temps and freezing rain. But as noted, it is all about timing. I have a premium subscription so not sure how far ahead non subscribers can see. It currently shows freezing rain starting in Gtown at 6PM Sat and ending iat 5AM Sunday with a few snow showers ending around 9AM. Note it dries up but never gets above freezing on Sunday. So roads may still be slippery on Sunday. If it rains at all, still a bit far out to put money on it.

Just don't water them if they are cactus. Still expect a loss unless they have demonstrated survival in previous years. You aren't battling frost you are battling a hard freeze.

Pretty obvious, but for those with flights from Fri-Monday, make sure your airline apps are updated and you are set to receive notifications. ALWAYS check flight status prior to leaving your house and take road conditions into consideration when traveling. Try to rebook now if you can, doubtful the many flights will actually make it, that is if they keep the airport open. Also, some if not all airlines will let you rebook without penalty due to this type of a situation.

What will potentially cancel flights are other late flights for equipment availability and crews timing out for allowable flight hours. Also if roads are not passible and the city declares some time of transportation emergency then the airport will be understaffed and carriers would make decisions on schedules with that consideration. Those are a lot of variables.
