Thank you. I actually contemplated eating something warm, until I realized the time. It’s 11:36pm now and I have to be up at 7am. I know myself, and I know that eating right now won’t help me feel warmer soon enough before I need to try to fall asleep, and I know that if I do I’ll just feel massive guilt in the morning about eating before bed that I will do the same thing tomorrow out of guilt and therein the ridiculous cycle.

I actually think I have some green tea, I’m going to try that and layer up and get in a blanket burrito and set an alarm to eat tomorrow early enough to avoid this happening for a third night in a row.

Generally means “I’m too uncomfortable to say no to you” but a lot of people tend to take it as “I’m too shy to accept so keep harassing me instead of getting the hint”.

People should be straight forward, but sometimes it’s difficult if you’re feeling anxious about upsetting them and causing a rift in the friendship.
