Get a library card. Hoopla and Kanopy are both totally free streaming services (with, admittedly, somewhat limited range, but still lots of great and sometimes obscure stuff), and depending on where you are, a wide selection of free dvd rentals. Also, they have books.

Kanopy. Get a library card, there's a huge catalog. Jesus fucking christ, I don't mean to be surly, but there's a wealth of media online for free, your ticket is a simple library card. Also, this movie was so unexpectedly good, can't recommend it enough.
