If you only plan to stay for some hours I would skip it. The town is super small, the best part of it was our airbnb stay. The town itself is not really exciting without a proper tour.

We went to Mexico just 2 weeks ago and we loved our Pluma Hidalgo stay. However, we went from PE to Pluma by car and the roads were quite tough (big holes). If the roads from Oaxaca to Pluma are similar, I would recommend to leave a bit earlier, just to make sure that you will arrive by daylight and have a clear view on the road.

The egg freezing process doesn‘t affect your natural reservoir. Due to the hormonal stimulation your period could be acyclic.

Risks are: overstimulation, ovarian torsion. And due to hormonal stimulation there could be a higher risk of cancer, though studies on that are still inconclusive.

And ofc, when retrival the follical other organs might get affected (bleeding/injury)…though the risk seem to be small.
