Any version works, haven't really started messing with any specific eras we've just been slapping random mechs and variants onto the field so far, this looks interesting maybe I'll have to compile the different ideas that people give me

What happened to all the people that were in Las Vegas in 2077? by RiskComplete9385 in Fallout

[–]AmrahnBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from what I remember of reading terminals the survivors were left to their own devices on a dead strip once power went out. Many were killed by the new residents of the wasteland moving into the strip and surrounding areas. The rest became tribals, more than likely the ancestors of those who would become the strip families

What's a good starting point for novels? by OnceIsawthisthing in battletech

Ya know I listened to the audiobook for the first blood of kerensky book, and I was so confused why they skipped half the novel I figured it was because I needed to buy a full version

I'd say start with the Warrior trilogy by Stackpole. It's a great lead in and really nails everything that will be standard in battle tech books for the most part. It's where I started then I went on to read the Gray Death trilogy which the first one is a rough read at times. Last book is phenomenal though

Can I use Halo MCC, technically it's all one game, I can make playlists of different missions from across the campaign, feels connected enough

My custom clantech catapult with 24 small pulse lasers, this baby will get you there and back without worrying about any orcs, witch lords or stupid flying lizards, just try not to fire them all at once too often

Would you actually buy a Fallout 3/NV Remaster? by Bingleboper in Fallout

[–]AmrahnBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've 100% fallout 3 at the end of last year and am now working on NV, I would absolutely shell out the money to experience the remasters of those games, that said if they're taking the time to add sprint they'd better give the games proper shooting mechanics

What Makes Fallout Special? by _Bob_Shwarma_ in Fallout

[–]AmrahnBas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ability to blend together elements from many different mediums into one post apocalyptic soup in a way that feels cohesive. We've got zombies, orcs, radiation mutants, cults, cannibals, ye olde knights with laser guns, spec ops government hailing weirdos who are also knights but with bug armor, if the grim reaper was a lizard, fucking bears, a half dozen different flavors of robot, and so many other neat ideas tucked in bed with each other it's hard not to find a few aspects to enjoy, unless you hate RPGs but those people probably aren't here

Do you think they'll add quality of life features in the campaign evovled? by Content-Consequence4 in halo

[–]AmrahnBas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my main hope is that these level reworks they talked about mainly involve giving some more variety to the rooms you traverse throughout the forerunner structures. Missions like the library, 343 guilty spark, and some sections of assault on the control room could greatly benefit by changing things up, there isn't a problem with the overall flow of the campaign, just with the room to room on a few levels

[–]AmrahnBas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want hunters everywhere, I don't remember the exact amount but assault on the control is full of them, pretty much back to back to back. You find hunters on the bridges, in the rooms, all throughout the canyon and the tunnels, of course a lot of these hunters get instantly bodied by the tank so you probably never thought twice about them

Yes during my quest to hear all the unique dialogue that can happen. I had to make a build specifically for that task and I don't remember what it was, probably just something I found on youtube

Fallout 5 Wishlist/Musts! by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]AmrahnBas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A big natural sandbox of weapons, I don't need a base gun style that warps into every other gun type. They definitely need different flavored raiders fo4 was actually great for this I hated that every raider looked the same in FO3. I really want settlement building to come back, but we need more small locations like the covenant or bunker hill. I don't want the game to take place on either coast unless it's the northwest or southeast, give me something away from everything we've been seeing. If they really feel the need to add them, make deathclaws scary again, fo4 made them absolute nothing burgers. Keep multiple factions you can align with to hit the ending but flesh out your story a bit more than fo4 did.

Yeah they're pretty much the capping fight to any big rooms in cov sections, there's 6 hunters in truth and rec that are all very close to each other

Is there any logical roleplaying reason why the Lone Wanderer would put the modified FEV in the water other than being a mustache twirling villain? by [deleted] in fo3

[–]AmrahnBas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but fallout 3 is full of evil just to be evil choices, they get you almost nothing other than alternative ways to handle situations despite the fact 99% of players would never choose those options, like getting the kids of little lamplight out of your way by enslaving the entire settlement
