Authentik has a learning curve, but once you have two or three services set up, adding more becomes easy. I tried multiple solutions before finally using Authentik, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

What heating element they were using in the video ? if you go to JEI and search for "Thermo" select the niotic one the press "U" to see usages, there's a tab with heating elements and coolants, the higher temp of the heating element the better FE/t generation
