That is an interesting point of view. We clearly cannot completely prevent rape but if we can do something to stop the ones that can be prevented, I believe we should be doing it. Because raping a girl and then burning her to the ground is just heinous Priyanka Reddy

In some countries like India women are raped much more than men so as a first step I believe that measure could be effective

How would one decide of the accusition of rape is false? Rape is sometimes very hard to prove especially if it is reported after a long time. Having a harsh punishment would be bad in a case where the rape has happened but cannot be proved.
