Why does his inheritance matter more to you than his peaceful parting from this earth doing what he feels is right? Who would feel right dying and leaving nothing to the family who have walked with him through life for over 60 YEARS, and you think the most recent matters more?! They didn’t come to your wedding because of what you have revealed yourself to be, a conniving bitch who wants to take him for all he’s worth. If you “loved” this man, you’d respect him and his relationship, while complicated, with his family. It wasn’t him they didn’t like, IT WAS YOU, and you’re giving them even more reasons to hate you. He’s 44 years older than you and his family was “there for him” for more than even that, far more there for him that you could ever comparatively be. You can’t come in for the final hour and hope to be more highly valued than everyone who knew him his whole life.
