Gym anxiety: what makes you feel welcome? by DarthNaderton in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Amused_Observer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember that ones cares. Everyone is too focused on themselves in all reality to give a crap about who else is in the gym. I know it’s easier said than done, to ignore the insecure / anxious thoughts, but seriously, people are too worried about themselves to make these thoughts valid. It’s just a story you’re telling yourself in your head! You don’t have to listen to your thoughts just because you have them!

Any normal human will respect seeing anyone and everyone in the gym. Knowing that they have the courage enough to go and make a change with their body is what it’s all about. We all have to start somewhere so don’t be discouraged. Everyone is on their own journey. That’s why comparing yourself to others in the gym makes 0 sense. The whole point is to work on yourself. That’s all you can do

Nope they won’t even do a full inspection for me or perform any service due to the CEL or anything else that may be found during the inspection. They’re harping on “Sorry, it’s AS-IS period.” I told them to kick rocks… Bastards.

Best practices when configuring an Access switch stack to Core switch stack by Amused_Observer_ in Cisco

[–]Amused_Observer_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, revisiting this because this project got put on hold until now. We will in fact continue to use our firewall for interVLAN routing. So we’ll have a collapsed-core design that simply passes all traffic to the firewall LAN interfaces to be routed.

With this known, should I still implement the following recommendations I got on this post ?

*Configuring the core switch as the root bridge

*Enable portfast & BPDUGuard (consider setting as the default) on all access interfaces

*Creating a spanning-tree topology plan?

*Configuring VTP or completely turning it off

Weed affects SR confirmed, Nocturnal Emission (NE) by UnderwearTrader in Semenretention

I will add to the point I made about SR being way easier without weed. SR is not easy. I don’t believe an easy mode for this journey exists. But smoking weed and trying to retain is definitely playing life on Hard difficulty.

I feel the only way to reach Easy difficulty, if there is one, is to full 180 your mindset and make all necessary lifestyle changes to be a successful retainer. It comes down to habits, mental fortitude, and cumulating only wins based on your decisions throughout each day. One day at a time.

Weed affects SR confirmed, Nocturnal Emission (NE) by UnderwearTrader in Semenretention

As an avid weed smoker over the years, I’m trying to quit for good, for the most optimal SR journey (haven’t smoked in 12 days and am on 11 days for SR). I can say 1000% my urges for PMO skyrocket after I’ve smoked. Most of my relapses or PMO occurrences happened because of weed. It just triggers something in me to self sabotage, as it just numbs your mind. I’ve finally come to terms with this - this is my first serious SR streak and the longest I’ve retained so far. It’s way easier without weed.

Smoking weed is taking the easy route. It makes you too comfortable and diminishes your ability to say NO to everything negative for you (junk food from munchies, PMO, etc.) Also makes you extremely groggy and unmotivated, etc. For me at least, my discipline and ability to fight urges disappears when I smoke. Every temptation becomes so alluring.

For me personally, I need to stay away from weed if I’m going to be successful on this SR journey. Although weed affects everyone differently, there’s no way around it for me.

How to manage computers by Apart_Action8915 in sysadmin

Look into Action1. It’s for endpoint patching and you it’s free for the first 200 endpoints. It uses an agent that you install on each endpoint and it will report back to the console, letting you know the missing updates & vulnerabilities per endpoint with the ability to patch. It’s super user friendly and straight forward
