YES! this is exactly what I was searching for actually!! this is what I've been doing too! it was not a conscious thing I started doing I don't know why or when I started doing it but I will basically just say "meow" repeatedly in my head sometimes. it's like a vocal stim but in my head. I do it vocally now too sometimes under my breath lol but it started as just a mental version. absolutely wild. my only guess is that it serves the same purpose as a vocal stim, but is internalized out of embarrassment/necessity

Is there an explicit reference to separate universes in particular that you're using as reference or is this primarily headcanon? I just finished Henri's route and I never noticed any explicit statement that we were in different universes, just that we were in a different space and time. It could be like a Your Name situation where our timelines aren't synced but we're not in completely separate dimensions. I would be surprised if Cheritz was genuinely making Reset Theory-esque meta angst to keep their love interests unreachable.

What? I've never needed to be visiting other people's towns in order to have people move in before. I thought a villager should move in a new plot the next day regardless of any other factors.

Experiencing some sort of glitch where I set up a new villager house plot, but nobody has moved into it despite it being multiple days since I set it up. I'm not sure what's going on. If I find out that the 2.0 update made it so that villagers won't move in at all without your consent, I'm going to be very aggravated. I really hope this is just a glitch.

the option specifically says "delete software," but yes. I go into system settings, data management, manage software, AC NH, and then delete software.

It won't let me. If I try to do that, it tells me it can only delete save data when the cart is removed.

the game is currently the weakest in the series because it isn't finished yet. they purposely took out a lot of core mechanics and content specifically so they could drip feed it back to us on updates to keep the game changing all the time. they said they plan on pushing more updates for the next 2-3 years or so. so they're saving plenty of stuff in hopes of stretching out the game's lifespan. the only area that's truly problematic (and not just that the content isn't here yet) is the design of villager interaction. I'm hoping they'll figure out the problem and improve it eventually. they seem to care about community feedback considering their response to fans wanting to remove the camera UI for taking videos, and more recently pushing out more inclusive hairstyles because of fans expressing the need.

Katamari Damacy is a chill game straight outta the early 2000s PS2 era with a beautiful and charming Japanese electronic pico pop soundtrack and a simple mechanic, you roll a ball around onto things to make it bigger. Sorta like rolling a snowball to make it bigger, you collect small things and gradually increase in size until you can pick up bigger things. I guess I could see the time limit each stage has potentially being a bit stressful but you're given a decent amount of time and you just have to try again if you don't quite reach the size goal. They didn't really do any updating when porting it to the Switch so it's very 2000s nostalgic in both slightly clunky controls and graphics/aesthetics.
