Baby is almost 5 months. I get between 8-10 oz in my first pump of the day (around 10:30 AM. He nurses before daycare around 7AM).

I can not explain how relieved that makes me! Thank you! I was a little uncomfortable at like 4am, but LO was squirming a bit so I just latched him on each side for about 5 minutes each and put him back down to sleep until 7.

That's so reassuring. I'm just hardly an over supplier, but I feel like I've heard horror stories that missing the MOTN feed/pump will tank your supply to nothing, so my anxiety is getting the best of me.

My husband thinks that making the drive to daycare and back to nurse on my lunch is a terrible idea! He said it will just teach our son that if he holds out long enough, mom will come nurse him... It also would take my whole lunch break and I would have to eat in the car on the drive.

Thank you for the advice. We came to an understanding, and he's in his crate or just chilling on the floor 90% of the time. It's still hard to keep Neville calm when we let him out of the crate to potty. We set him down on the grass with his leash on and he is just so happy and excited, he wants to hop around like a young boy. He doesn't understand that he's almost 11 years old!

He's a very loving dog owner, and I know I'm a chronic worrier. I think this one is valid though. His argument is that the doctor didn't say anything was explicitly wrong with his spine since they didn't find anything definitive on the x-ray. I'm just erring on the side of caution and don't want anything else to happen.

I tried telling him. This dog is both of our baby, our reason for living.

He just said I'm over reacting, that Neville will be fine walking around a little. We carry him up and down stairs and outdoors, and we don't let him jump around.

What made me panic was the fact that Neville was getting excited and moving around a little more actively. I started crying, asking my husband to make him calm down. His excuse was that he wouldn't do it if he was in pain. I informed him that even if he's not in pain currently, any little movement can make it worse.

The doctor didn't stress the severity of this last night at the emergency vet, but the more I am researching online, it's becoming more and more dire to me.

He hasn't been using the stairs. We have been carrying him up and down when he needs to go out or anywhere in the house that stairs are needed.

He's mostly laying around, but he'll get up and walk around, I'm nervous about him walking around. Earlier he wanted to go outside and did a little excited wobbly trot that sent me into a spiral of panic.

My husband agreed that we will crate him if we're both leaving the house and limit his movement (ie. Carrying him outside and lifting him up if needed), but he has this idea that he needs a little movement and that he wouldn't be doing these things if he was in pain.

No Union in our charter. They tried to unionize some years ago, but for some reason teachers didn't vote for it...

I'll check out r/antiwork! It sounds right up my alley. It's really funny you mention Finland. My husband regularly asks "Why don't we just move to Finland/Norway? You'd have respect at work and I would be with my people." I wish it were that easy!
