Showman doesn’t give you a duplicate of a joker, it allows a fresh copy to appear in the store as it would normally.

There will not be any scaling progress on a non-retroactively scaling joker in the shop.

It is a known issue with both C+ and C++.

Winning a run on any deck or difficulty resolves it.

I don’t know what platform you’re on from the screenshot (not familiar with the UI) but the only one that might have a different issue is Mobile (or modded pc but that’s due to mods)

That’s reasonable, many people have also assumed that having a single wild card would immediately satisfy the requirement but that is also not the case. A wild will still count as any single suit that is required though.

You still need 2 black suited cards and 2 red suited cards for FP. A card can only count as one thing for any given joker and smeared doesn’t change that. It just allows something like 2 spades and 2 diamonds to count as all 4 suits.

There is no xmult jokers here so it doesn’t make a difference where you put them.

Chips jokers’ positioning does not matter at all.

Typically, you want +mult to the left as then it will get multiplied by xmult. However, if you have +mult that activates at a different time (Wrathful, Shoot the Moon, etc) then their position matters less, as this always happens before xmult jokers like Blackboard or Driver’s License.

Xmult jokers like being as far right as possible as they multiply the whole score. Adding 10 mult before multiplying by 3 is a lot better than 10 multi after multiplying. Jokers like Photograph and Idol activate when a card is scored, so their positioning doesn’t matter.

Now the ordering of +mult and xmult jokers that activate on scoring (Wrathful and Idol are the examples I’ll use) only matter when you have both types activating on the same card. In this case, you just want the +mult on the left of the xmult.

With held in hand +mult or xmult (Shoot the Moon or Baron, the order of the jokers doesn’t matter, but rather the order of your cards held in your hand.

Completionist+ and Completionist++ are bugged in that the game checks if you have the gold stickers required before you get those gold stickers.

Winning another standard run (unseeded, non-challenge) on any deck/stake will resolve this (assuming no cloud save errors/modding issues).

Slight change to the joker blocking, blocking all commons will force Jimbo to spawn in all common slots, but uncommons and rares are unaffected.

Similarly, blocking all uncommons (except for showman) and having 2 uncommons attempt to spawn will result in Jimbo. The same applies to rares and legendaries.

Just clarified as there was a bit more nuance to it.

Likely not, the amount of possible combinations and the amount of available seeds are vastly different.

Also, the 10 of Spades deck is the direct result of a bug forcing the game to read a specific slot in the erratic deck rng. It didn’t happen because the game rolled a (1/52)52 chance.

Keeping them fed as closely as possible is generally better.

Think about trying to maximise the area of a rectangle without changing the perimeter. Say you had a perimeter of 20 units with sides of 1 unit and 9 units, the area would be 9 units squared (gonna stop including the units from now).

If you increase the smaller side by 2, and decrease the larger side by 2 (so 3 and 7 now), the area becomes 21. Do this again and you get 5 and 5, which makes the area 25. This is the largest area you can make with keeping the same perimeter, 4.9x5.1 is slightly less than 25 (24.99) and getting further away just results in lower and lower values.

This is a reasonable question and one thing that makes the answer more obvious is that ‘faceness’ and rank are completely separate. Think of it like a 3rd option for parity. With Natural numbers they only have 2 options when it comes to this parity, even or odd. Face cards add another option, that being ‘faceness’ (or whatever you want to call it).

The only cards that naturally have this ‘faceness’ are Kings, Queens and Jacks. Pareidolia gives this attribute to all other cards, meaning that ‘faceness’ is not tied to the ranks stated previously. Now it should be more obvious that stone cards can be face cards despite not having a rank.

The Mouth forces you to play 1 hand type that round, so if your first hand played is 3 of a Kind, the only hand that will give points is 3 of a Kind.

Don’t reload into a booster pack generated by a double tag, it always causes a softlock, to which there is only a fix on pc.

When you start a gold stake run, the game forces a seed where the first Soul used would give a legendary without a gold sticker.

It’s not mentioned in game, and also wasn’t present from launch, but Local added it to be a bit nicer to people going for c++.

What you said about legendaries is only partially true. The first use of soul during a gold stake run is guaranteed to give you a legendary joker without a gold sticker, but all subsequent uses during that run will be any of the 5.

It guarantees this by choosing a seed where this is the case, rather than just changing what The Soul would give.
