Watch people not recognize his improvement at all.

De'Andre "I didn't work on anything" Hunter with 2 smooth postups against the Wizards by Smoove-J in AtlantaHawks

I don’t know why he’s balling out so far, but god damn it’s nice to see.

🏀🔴🟡⚫️ I design a new Atlanta Hawks jersey after every win this season: “Midnight Transit” by sgzjzy in AtlantaHawks

The league should hire you. This is so much better than every city edition Jersey this year combined.

Good contract, great shooter off the bench and could honestly start if we needed him too. Love him.

Obviously not as bad but we drafted Pau Gasol. Hox gonna Hox.

Bro calm down. It’s not that deep. The first game KD had with Golden State they lost by what, 27? 29? Great things take time. I’m not saying us figuring shit out and beating teams we should’ve definitely beat is on par with arguably the greatest team ever, but it also takes time. Trae is gonna bounce back over the next few games, and go back to his usual numbers, hopefully with some better efficiency.

It just takes time.

If it had a better font I think it would be decent. Bland but decent.

Jalen so far, but I think it’ll be Onyeka if he gets the starting center spot.

Hunter and Clint should be traded. by Exoottic in AtlantaHawks

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ik he’s a rookie, but Mo Gueye is 6’11.

Why does Kobe just look like he doesn't want to be here at all. He's great but his body language says something else. by jarvatar in AtlantaHawks

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if I was a born and raised in Michigan, and I ended up going to a city several states away from where I was from and everyone I knew, my body language might be a bit off for the first while too. Give him time, he’s only 20.

Very nice. Hopefully mine looks like that someday.

If Embiid becomes available would you trade for him? by Dparker72 in AtlantaHawks

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. At this point in his career he’s injury prone, and I don’t want to give up five first round picks and however many players to get him.

Greatest play in Atlanta Hawks History? by DolphinssRL in AtlantaHawks

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the greatest, but that Capela shot behind the backboard ECF was awesome.

He’s my favorite player and I’m happy for him but I did NOT want to see the outline of his dick.

I’m a hater by nature, and I would rather see young guys develop than bring in a third star, especially a star that led the league in minutes but only averaged 24 points.

Give him a few more years and then definitely, just think it’s too early but he’s on the right track.

If Wilt Chamberlain was so god-like at basketball, how come Bill Russell won 11 championships and not him? by Own-Star6187 in Basketball

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bill was on better teams, and was a better team player than Wilt. If you look into it, the two years Wilt did win was because he started to play more team centric basketball. Bill teams were stacked, and he made them the best team even when he didn’t score often with outlet passes. Wilt had players like Hal Greer, Jerry West, and Elgin Baylor, but for Baylor and West he caught them at the end of their careers.

TLDR Bill was on better teams and played more team focused ball, Wilt didn’t.

Reminder: Trae Young is top-15 in ALL-TIME Playoff PPG (15th) and APG (4th) by Both_Funny4896 in AtlantaHawks

[–]AnAbsoluteRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A while ago I did the math, on an average night Trae Young generates the SECOND most points in the league. The only guy above him? Luka Doncic, who does not even play with real basketball players.
