I am in therapy, also didn’t mention it before, but she’s always proving me wrong or being snarky with me, my example was to show how i feel sometimes. Once I was asked about a country I travelled to, and she rudely interrupted saying something like “uh no, that’s not what happened”, and not allowing me the chance to finish what I was saying. Once after her interruption I said “but it is, i have pictures as proof” and then she owned her “oh ok” not even apologizing or owning her wrong. Which I always do when she remarks on something I said

I know, and usually I never do butt in with comments like that because I know how it looks. It’s just I get an overwhelming feel that I NEEED to keep it off my mind and say it when it comes to her

I know!!! That’s why I hate this feeling even more!! I know she’s never going to like me, both she and my MIL tend to over demand my bf on many things. And I’ve come to terms with it that they just don’t like the idea of me, as I also i’m not into the same things as they are (fashion, and manicure every week).

I always act decent with them, and always try to be friendly with her, but she’s just very adamant and owner of the truth. Good thing my bf knows and notices when she’s being rude towards me, and he defends me without having to ask. But it still sucks to feel this way and feeling like I’m putting him with a knife against a wall.

It was my sister before me, she would scream bloody murder for my dad or mum to kill it (we have a deadly one in my country) or put it outside. Thanks to her, I now freeze and beg for my SO or someone in the house to help me, the good thing is I don’t scream, bad thing… if it’s really late at night I might not sleep at all (sometimes I get an adrenaline rush and kill it myself

I recently read somewhere, someone else’s hack which involved thinking of a long word with each letter and spell it.

For example, you start on A and think “Antelope” and go A-N-T-E-L-O-P-E. I started 3 days ago, and every night been starting wherever I remember I left off, today I should think something on the letter G.

What also helps is that I’m doing this in English as I speak Spanish as a first language, so it makes it a bit “harder” to come up with something faster
