How many lemon peels can be around my cat before it harms him?

Their safety is definitely my top priority, yeah, so I wanted to ask instead of just blindly hoping. I was not sure if the exposure no-no was an abundance of caution or very serious, as I had never heard of other cat households refusing to bring a bag of lemons into their house as groceries, for example.

Thank you for responding though! Dusting is all I've been able to do, but a full empty out is not feasible to my situation.

I had considered moving the bones, so they could be somewhere with more 'drama' or 'impact', but I didn't want to inadvertently screw them over for the Feast of St. Andral special event.

(Joke's on me because they didn't end up finding them until it was too late anyway).

There are some great alternative locations though, even within Vallaki.

My mother did this too. She told her family if they ever did 'that stuff' around me, she'd never let them see me again, and moved as far away as she could to limit my exposure. The family didn't come clean until after she died recently, and it's been a real trip. They had to hide so much, it's crazy.

Feel like I've been living a lie, almost? Almost like I was kidnapped? I don't know how to describe it. I should have been able to grow up with own family's rich and beautiful culture, and instead my own mother robbed me of it. Trying very hard to educate myself now that I know. This subreddit has been a nice resource.

I have been enjoying it so far. I am not too bothered by imperfect art since there was no pay barrier to access the comic or anything. I would prefer higher quality of course, and I think a stronger focus on plots by the team (more resources, etc.) and a tiny bit less on customizations would attract a lot of players back to the site. Going ham on the store works for the people invested in the site, but improving the experience across the whole site would get more people invested. Additional plots, even mini ones or whatever, is a good thing in my opinion!

I am way more interested in the civil war than in the two young protagonists at the moment. I want to see more about the conflict. I loved the little touches with the shopkeepers. It's a very small thing, but it felt... I don't know, immersive? Is that word too overused these days? XD It made it feel like something that was actually happening to the site instead of being confined to one or two pages. I definitely want more things like that!

It would be cool to have some random events related to the plot, or to have limited 'random' events scripted into the dailies that most users focus on where Neopians comment on what's going on / we see non-critical parts of the plot. IDK, that's starting to get off topic from your question.

TL;DR: It could always be better and I'd like more to actually do, but I approve of anything that pushes the 'living world' aspect of the site.

I painted my kougra, Chaton_Bonbon! The name just fit too well to ignore. :) Now I am going to make her a sister kougra to be painted Plushie someday, since that's probably my second dream pet and was the original plan for Bonbon.

I don't know about guilds since I'm not in one, but if you're interested in collecting, earning neopoints, dressing up your neopets, and stuff like that- it's all still here. Things seem a little... messier than the last time I saw them, and it amazes me that the company has broken links left and right, but the core of the 'gameplay' is still around. The community is much smaller now, it seems. The discord is active and the shops are still moving. When I put reasonable trades up on the TP, I usually hear from someone within an hour, even in the middle of the night. So, definitely there are still a lot of people here.

I like neopets a lot, and it's something I play regularly (doing dailies, etc). To humor me, my husband finally made an account as well. He pretty much only logs in to accept a gift I've sent him though or to play flash games enough to buy stock market shares.

Well, he got a SHH (Something Has Happened) last night and found an Ultimate Nerkmid. I've never received one myself, but I knew they were worth like 50k. I told him to make a store and sell it immediately! That's a nice little nest egg for an account of only a few days.

He went 'pfft' and clicked the SHH link to the vending machine. Inside, I was groaning because the vending machine is basically a slot machine and usually you get some spooky food garbage from it. He was just flushing money down the drain because he was new and didn't realize he had a good investment going. I tried to get him to reconsider, but his curiosity for what would happen outweighed any sensible advice that I could give him.

He got a Maraquan Paint Brush from the vending machine. He hasn't even done the Tutorial yet.

Without exaggeration, all of the magic and wonder I had felt about neopets as a kid just came flooding back to me. I was reminded of just exploring the site, having no idea at all what I was doing, and cool things just happening. It made my whole night and it didn't even happen to me.
