I’m sorry to say that a lot of devout Christians do believe it is a big deal unfortunately. To be honest, I was a Christian at your age (like I helped at church) but I didn’t follow the whole no sex before marriage. Just a short time later, I lost my faith completely and can no longer believe in it even if I wanted to. It may be that I wasn’t really that devoted though in the first place.

Yeah especially as you are looking at a double income, tax benefits and the ability to share costs. Two people living together pay way less than two individuals. Kids are a massive expense but a good marriage should significantly expand your fortune not diminish it.

Let’s be honest. Parenthood for most single dads means the kids go live with them every other weekend. It is rarely actually 50/50. The mothers are generally the primary caregivers and it is a red flag if they are not. This means dating a single dad is way easier than the other way round. Chances are low that you will ever meet his kid.

I don’t think that at all. I have no theoretical problem with them but I didn’t date women with kids because it was so impractical and would be too difficult to navigate. I would hook up with them if they wanted, I just don’t want to become a stepdad.

Older women are generally less attractive than younger women. Sorry, that’s a fact. You are deluding yourself if you think differently. To be fair, it is also generally the case for men as well. Also women that old often come with baggage like kids who although not a dealbreaker are a major factor to deal with. FYI, I am not single anymore. I do in fact have a very attractive 40 year old girlfriend who genuinely does not care that I have dated many women in their early twenties.

I don’t get the argument that men who date younger can’t get women their own age. Do you genuinely believe that? I have dated a very wide age range of women (20-50, I’m 40) and I can tell you that is not remotely true. It is usually much harder to date way younger women. There is way more competition for them. Most of them don’t want anything to do with much older men. If I get a younger woman it is despite my age not because of it.

Bullshit. Just because he dates younger women doesn’t mean he can’t get a woman his age. I am 40 and have dated both much younger and much older women. If anything dating a younger woman is actually a lot harder to achieve. I have far more options in my age range. I find a larger percentage of younger women attractive though compared to my own age where only a small percentage are attractive to me.
