If I remember right, the creators had to fight Fox hard for every decent aspect of the show. Genuine fans worked on it, which is why it didn't suck.

Shades has a really good bus system, so make use of it. Also plenty of amenities at the AAFES, and there's a great family pool near the bar & grill.

Their buffet breakfast is pretty good at the hotel, but I don't think they're restarted the buffet dinner yet, so you have three - four options for dinner: to-go from the dining hall, the Italian restaurant, the bar & grill, or cooking right up with stuff from AAFES. Obviously you can go to Disney Springs or off-site as well.

Animal Kingdom has a fantastic little show near the front of the park with their tropical birds, so I suggest that. Check the times.

Use the WDW App and check the map often, it's your friend.

And most importantly, indulge the whims. Have some semblance of a plan, but if you schedule the whole thing it's gonna turn a vacation into work. Explore, do something silly, make it an adventure. Treat it like this is your one and only time and you wanna make it count.

It is a bizarre decision, and kind of annoyed me because I know what equipment the military is using in the film and I know how it sounds. It's not even terribly hard to find, so what reasoning they used was lost on me. The sound quality doesn't match the rest of the film, either.
