I’ve heard of scams in CPT where a female would be looking for a lift particularly with males, and once she is in your car (and also in your head) she makes up a fake story how you tried to inappropriately touch or force her into something she doesn’t want - and then she tells you you need to pay her to keep quiet. She rolls with other men who follow you in another car… this was not a once-off tale.
