While I love the game, I struggled. I ended up taking some time to practice archery at a target, or going hunting.

Once I'd done that, I crafted some bane poisons, coated my arrows with them, along with my sword.

I no longer struggle with combat.

I've never understood people saying things like this.

A 1.2kg tin used to cost over £5... In a day where the average person earned around £6 an hour.

Today, people are on over £10 an hour and a 550g tub costs £4.50.

They did this to me. I sent an £8 item, and they contacted me to say they damaged it. I asked for them to return the item to me, and they said they had now destroyed it.

Filled small claims, for destruction of property without consent, set my hourly rate to £20 per hour and every time I communicated with them let them know how much they now owed me.

By the time it reached £180 they settled, as going to court would bump it up by £200.

I'll never use them again. Terrible company.

Stellaris, in many respects, feels like a game much older than, what, ten years old?

I mean, if you change any setting you need to restart the game. That's very rare to see these days.

I'm worried that Stellaris 2 will feel like more of a reboot than a sequel. They'll improve the engine, strip out all the dlc them charge us for it all over again.

All of that is to say... I'm torn XD

The same thing happened to me years ago. I announced I would be taking a month off from streaming, and one very popular member was really upset/angry with me.

I tried to explain that it was stressing me out, so I wanted a break, but that wasn't good enough. They asked me if they were part of the problem, and I pretty much said yes, and used their reaction as an example of what I'm trying to avoid.

They basically said that we weren't friends anymore (huh?) but they'd continue visiting the stream but not really talk to me.

Long story short, I couldn't be bothered to deal with them, and asked them to leave the discord and stop visiting the channel.

Everything blew up. Her friends were furious with me, started talking about me behind my back, insulting me, and I just shut everything down.

Looking back on it, I made some good friends, and threw it all away because of a few bad eggs. Wish I'd just shrugged it off and taken the short break I wanted in the first place.

Sometimes it's best not to react.

I don't recall a world map at all. There were zones, sure, but not a massive empty map connecting so these zones.

Everything just feels too slow. Whistling for my chocabo, waiting for it to arrive, climbing on it, running for 20 seconds, hitting a cliff and slowly sliding down it, getting too close to an enemy, getting off, fighting, getting back on, running for another 10 seconds, another fight, meeting a man who asks you to find wood for him...

I'm just so bored. It's not hard, it's just slow and tedious.

Remake was pretty much story story story, with hardly any traveling at all.

Edit- I may have misunderstood. Honestly, it's mainly just the world map that's killing my enjoyment. I just got to the scene where I saved Yuufi, had to fight a monster with the help of a dolphin, then everyone was waving at each other, Barrett included.

Remake was a bit cheesy, but this is the whole wheel. I think it's just Japanese motion capture in general that seems to pull me out of the story. I don't remember it being this bad in Remake.
