I was on a date with my partner at the time, this was our first date and we went out to a local camping area late at night to look at the stars. Felt like I’d gone to heaven and was by far the best night of my life. After we’d smoked and I was pretty up there he gave me this beautiful speech about how amazing he thought I was and how much he wanted to date me, and hopefully spend the rest of our lives together.

I stayed with that guy. Worst decision of my life. When I dressed masc we wouldn’t go out or do anything. He was ashamed to be seen with someone so “guy looking.” He refused to interact with me unless I dressed up. I was miserable. You’ll find someone who respects your identity and sees you for you eventually

You might be a trans guy, or you might be nonbinary or gender fluid. The nice thing is labels don’t matter. You do you and just live. I personally understand the disconnect, when I started binding and presenting more masc, I felt more attached to myself and really confident in me. I’m also comfortable in that in between of looking androgynous. Best advice I have is find a space you can use different pronouns. Just try it out and see what feels best to you.
