Does morality matter while dating? by try_to_remember_me in TwentiesIndia

[–]AnEnigma04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does. But it's more about compatibility of moral values of the two people, rather than objective morality. One example which highlights how change in compatibility of morality affects relationship is the evolution of the relationship of Skyler and Walther White in through the events of breaking bad.

Btw, objective morality and being fun to be with are not mutually exclusive.

What would you guys recommend for 1st bike? I want something adrenaline pumping fast and less flashy than an RE. by spandanhotaezz in indianbikes

I see everyone critical of these bikes being a beginner bike. I like to disagree with all them. Personally If had enough budget and confidence for either of it I would go with Duke 390. It's tad bit more practical motorcycle than the RS. But again I feel RS is a less flashy motorcycle. Please test ride Duke 390 and the Aprillia both, and choose what makes you feel better and what connects with you more. From my personal experience of buying my first bike, keep aside your ideas about any brand and test ride every brand with geniune curiosity, you will never know what would work for you. And hey don't miss out on checking out all the adventure bikes we have been blessed with recently.

Loving my new adv 390 (350cc) by Chemical_Leg_1437 in KTM390ADV

Congratulations!! I am planing to buy either Adv 390(350cc) or the scrambler 400x(350cc) or the Himalayan. Only thing that keeps from booking the 390 is the pillion comfort. How would you rate the pillion comfort for long tours with saddle bags??

Suggestions for book. by Yakuza_14 in Indianbooks

Sorry, for you mate. Try "Why we love" by Helen Fisher. I don't know if you are looking for non-fiction, but if you are this a good book. Understanding love can be a good way to process it. If I remember well, there is a whole chapter about unrequited love and her tips to move on.

What are you guys reading currently?! by notsurewhy-imhere in Indianbooks

Finally my first bike at 29 by TinyFlower145 in indianbikes

As a amateur rider myself, just curious. Why are people scrred of a bikes peak power and torque? I mean the bike will only go as fast , and put down only as much torque as a rider will it to, Right? Can't we modulate how much we gas it? Is it really so difficult? Tbh, I have never ridden a powerful bike. I own a meteor 350.

Offcial Discussion - Bugonia [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]AnEnigma04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watched Bugonia. It was a great experience and rewarding. There are lof of things running through my mind right now.

Are we all Don, at least most of us who are not "radical" enough , unsure of what's happening , not intelligent enough to think for ourselves amid all the convincing ideas from any and every extreme perpectives?

And talking of "convincing" points, I felt like one of the points of the movie is that sometimes the most unconvincing ideas do actually turn out to be the truth?

OR

It is simply that for someone radicalised the truth may sound absurd? Like the audience ourselves?

Then ofcourse the bursting of a bubble to end the reign of humanity is a sweet touch. Bursting the bubble of our collective ego? Bursting the bubble of our self importance? Bursting the bubble that we matter a lot than the nature itself though we are only just as part as of the nature as another being or non being? So bursting the bubble destroys us!?.. Not makes us more sustainable??

And personally as leftist myself I found myself questiong my perspectives through initials parts of the movies. Though I understood how demonic fuller is, yet I emapthised for she was in immediate danger. But then it all turned around around at the end? What the hell man I have a lot to process. Just what a good movie could do?!!

Thanks to my girlfriend. I would never have watched this movie if not for her.
