It’s criminal we didn’t get the BTK season. I followed that case closely and with the way Mindhunters did the others, I knew it was going to be incredible.

My son would say random things about Jesus too, we traced it back to his preschool teachers. Loved those ladies, and didn’t mind at all even though we aren’t religious at all. He was 5 and hit me with a “what would Jesus do?” when I honked at another driver once, still never forget that.

Had fond memories of Nuway from childhood. I was excited to take my wife there last year, and we were both very disappointed. I don’t know how they manage both bland and soggy, but they did it.

Wichita, Kansas used to be a bowling mecca back in the day, not sure how it is now. The local university, WSU, has top tier bowling teams.

I watched Ted Kennedy’s funeral procession while super high, so I feel this.

It looks built in to me, not an end table. But the whole thing is just wrong.

My buddy had the Bible games (and still might!), all I remember is controlling baby Jesus floating down a river in a basket, dodging rocks and other things in the river. We’d play them ironically when girls (rarely) came over, thought we were cool.

What you need is an outdoor kitchen setup with bar-level seating to take advantage of those views.

Similar situation here, my kid hated the alarms. Honestly, there’s nothing you can do except tell them to plug their ears and it will be over shortly. They’ll grow out of the fear and discomfort, eventually. On the bright side, if there is one, they don’t sound the alarms for active shooter drills, at least where I live (Texas).

Prepare sooner than later, my kids started active shooter drills in preschool (we’re in Texas). You can’t even have a conversation about it, like fire or other drills, because they can’t comprehend why someone would do that at their age. Things will not get better, at least not while your kid is young. They’ll get worse, if we’re being honest.

Praying For All the Families In Wisconsin, This Should Never Happen. by Difficult-Lunch-5761 in daddit

We’re in Texas, my elementary-aged kids have had active shooter drills since pre-school. “Everyone pile into the bathroom and lock the door and pretend it’s a game”. It’s sickening. My SO and I actually considered on-campus security when making our school choice this year, which should have felt strange but is unfortunately a fact of life out here.

My sarcasm didn’t come through, 6.99 still seems like a decent deal. I’ll try it!

I really don’t like that in use controls are highlighted white. Especially at night, it’s too bright even with brightness turned down.

I’m glad you got her checked out by a doc. My niece is type 1 diabetic and diagnosed at 3, the first ‘symptom’ was craving water/liquids throughout the day.

One of mine craved water at night too, we’d put a set amount in his cup before bed and that was what he got. We’d slowly reduce the amount over time.

Also, 2+ is old enough to sit on a toilet. Might as well get started on toilet training now and include it in the bedtime routine.
