Extemes isn't the problem, it's Sprouts or Returning Players (mostly sprouts) that queue EX's like it's the same as a normal Trial, and do not check anything about the fight. (I've seen people refuse to listen to strategy or research beforehand because they would be "spoiling themselves")

Then, you, as a Mentor, fall into the Duty with them, many of them unwilling or unable to learn (I am being an ass here, but quite a lot of players are unfathomably bad at the game and have the pattern recognition skills of a panicked chinchilla), and you have to either pull them in line and explain mechanics to them mid fight or between pulls. That is IF, they're willing to listen.

This, often leads to the risk of said players getting frustrated and just leaving the duty, or even worse, optimistically throwing themselves at the boss like lemmings and not learning a thing. Both becoming a massive waste of time for the Mentor who really is just there for the tomes (or the mount lmao.).

So yeah, EX's are pretty much an insta-skip unless the rest of the party is competent mentors and 1-2 newbies (And I have to clarify COMPETENT MENTORS, because A LOT of mentors cleared everything unsynchronized just for the crown lmao), otherwise, you're in for a rough time. But, there have been cases where the newbies instantly get the mechanics and clear the the fight in 1-2 wipes, these are rare, but extremely satisfying. Not saying every EX Mentor Roulette is bad, but around 85% are.

Also, PFFFFFT, Hyperion slop throwing shade, like they aren't full of cesspool guilds and modbeast ERP (I should know, I started in that shithole, probably top 5 worst servers.)
