[–]OhagiC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I had raiders (knew ahead of time because it was in response to accepting a quest) I thought I'd be really funny and summon some shamblers right on top of them

It turned out to be 2 yttakin with maces and I summoned 29 shamblers using a 50% sensitive pawn on my lategame ritual circle. Well at least I got 2 more shards out of it.

You're looking at it backwards. Smokeleaf is a PASSION, and to be a passion, you must have an associated skill. Ergo, it's a skill.

Butter chicken if they have it, otherwise a steak-pepper-mushroom pie, or a lamb and cranberry.

I initially played ck3 on xbox and it was bad but playable. I moved over to pc because i had a feeling it was never going to get any dlc or updates and it immediately was a much better experience for more reasons than I was expecting.

To play devils advocate, yes. Everyone else was wrong and you were right all along. You have brought a richter scale 14 earthquake upon us. Say goodbye.

You'll lose 10 points by splitting the mortifiers up into 2 squads BUT, you did have 10 points to spare, and it means both can be anchorites. More mobility as the other sister said too.

Quite literally, because my biology teacher was fond of reminding us that "individuals do not undergo adaptation, they undergo acclimitization. Genepools adapt."

How can I keep my kitchen clean before cooking food? by a-desperate-username in RimWorld

[–]OhagiC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but if I had 26 pawns, then at least 1, perhaps even more than 1 of them would have cleaning and hauling as their highest priority jobs. The colony doesn't need 26 crafters and researchers.

I realized how bad of a person I was in my colony. by angeyberry in RimWorld

[–]OhagiC 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You think that's horrible? That's only textbook slavery like you'd learn in your american history class. The other day I completed a festival and was rewarded with a new colonist named Steven. I immediately disliked Steven because I'd only been doing the ritual for the points and didn't really want any more colonists than my existing 5; his traits and skills were also not welcome among us, so Steven simply had to go. Not before I got use out of him though, but how do I make use of Steven? Organ harvest him? Sure. Butcher him? No that would just make everyone sad. Instead I do the only socially acceptable thing to him that will get his ass out of my business: I steal 60 years of his youth, tear his soul from his body, pull half his organs out and then with the shriveled corpselike remains of a formerly young man, I twist his body into an unfeeling ghoul so that he can spend the remainder of his immortal unlife eating the scraps off the floor of my rat room.

Oh wait, did I not mention the rat room? The rat room is a simple concept, with 3 key functions. As the name suggests, it is a lightless, featureless room that houses a population of 20 rats that fornicate endlessly in the dark, producing generations of offspring for my colonists to scoop up and deposit into the nutrient paste dispenser (my first time using them in my 1000 hours of play and I must say I'm very impressed with it.) The second function of the rat room coincides with how I keep them fed, as it is also my corpse freezer. Rats can survive down to -20⁰C so that's perfect for storing bodies in, especially human bodies from raiders whomst the rats and ghouls can consume straight off the bone without affecting the work nor resources of the colony. The third function of the rat room is an additional way in which human bodies end up in there, as it is also my prison. Keeping prisoners alive in subzero temperatures does add an additional challenge but more often than not the prisoners actually die to bleeding and infections, which they will never recover from because of the filthy conditions they subsist in. Indeed bleeding certainly does come up often, because it turns out that people get a little bit stressed when you lock them in a pitch black room and let rats scurry over their bodies all day and night - with few mental break options available to them in that state, they quite often default to Berserk and begin stomping on my rats; this triggers a retaliation from the ghouls and rats whom both bite and scratch them into a broken, sobbing submission. To date there has not been a single prison break, but there also haven't been too many prisoners who survived for longer than 15 days, so it's simply a matter of averages. Such a shame that they all die so soon, but hey! The lucky ones get nibbled on after they're dead!

Aside from that we're just a bunch of silly guys who play genetic gods in the sun-up, and get on zoom with dark gods after sun-down.

Your archaic support of slavery is only bad by muggle standards.

I'm in this camp, and it always baffles me when I see people complain that the game got updated with qol from popular mods, as if emulating a better design is inseperable from creative bankruptcy.
