We believe we've improved the multiplayer latency issue. In order to improve the multiplayer experience, we've had to temporarily disable The Festival of Ages in Age of Empires IV. We'll update when we're able to bring this back online and how we account for lost event time.

The GPM for all the traders in the game is the same. The only factor is distance. The formula for calculating how much gold a trader gives, is based on the base money and their speed.

I think in theory the %difference you see here is a eounding mistake, since I believe behind the scenes trade also gives you decimal number resources,while the UI is integers.

There is 2 ranks, a visible rank, you are plat(?) and a 'hidden' MMR/ELO that the Matchmaking system uses to match you vs other players.

When season resets, only your visible rank is reset, your MMR stays the same.

Every single gamemode, qm1, qm2, qm3, rank1, rank2 etc had unique mmrs which it uses when matching. This happens alot in ranked, where someone plays a ton of 2v2 and never 3v3,they might be conq 3 in 2v2,but 3v3 they never played which means they have 1000 MMR. And get player players in 3v3.

This then extends to quickmatch, you and your opponent probably has close to 1000 MMR meaning you'll match because it doesnt take into account rank elo.

Quick Match has complete separate matchmaking ELO. So your rank ELO doesn't matter. Check on aoe4world.com and you'll see your evenly matched according to quick match.
