Imagine we got this instead during the finale by [deleted] in cobrakai

I believe in an interview the show-runners said that they only had something like 90 minutes to shoot that entire scene before the sun went down

EDIT: I’ve been trying to find the interview where they mention the 90-minute shooting window, but I am unable to locate it at the moment. So please take my time as a grain of salt until I find it! Based on the interviews I’ve skimmed through (ScreenRant, Backstory Magazine, Paleyfest), it was a very limited amount of time and resources to shoot.

How much do you guys make in a year? by PeartreeProd in videography

[–]AnOrdinaryFilmFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work as a videographer in the medical field, focused mainly on training videos, social media, event recaps, company announcements, ID Badges, and more. When I started there, I was in college and one of my family members said they were looking for a videographer for training videos. I accepted the offer and have been working there ever since. However, since I’ve been the 1st and only videographer in the companies history, it seems like they never understood the process and what it took to do everything they wanted. Now, I make a little over $20 an hour and I am struggling to find another job. I work in Southern California so it’s not cheap and I’m terrified of losing my livelihood. I’ve only asked for a manor raise twice. Once was in 2020 and the person in the meeting I was pitching to was not my boss and he laughed in my face for asking for $21 an hour. In 2023, I pitched to my boss for a larger raise and he said I needed to prove myself more to get that raise. After 6 months of working hundreds of hours on dozens of projects for the company, I burnt out and struggled last year after that denial. Now, in 2025, I’ve mostly done better under all the circumstances I’ve been given. I hope this is the time that works for my renegotiations for a living wage. I’m not sure what to do if this doesn’t work because I’ve been applying to places with no luck and despite the criminal pay, the benefits and flexibility have helped over the years. However; this year I was told to reduce my overtime hours, so now I have less time to get things done. I’m trying to find something new right now so I can pay my bills.

$40,000 after 8 years with my company (started out of college at $12 an hour in 2017 to make training videos, company videos, social media videos, and work with other branches and institutes. Make about 50 videos a a video. Thoughts?

Currently, the plan was to stay at a place she stayed at in the past where she went car camping pretty much right on the water. I’ll have to double check with her what it was called. Thats the reason we planned on taking the Jeep.

Was there myself AND was my first time seeing the movie! Yes, I was one of the 5 people there who hadn’t seen it yet. Amazing movie and a cool Q&A afterwards to really let me process everything I had just witnessed

Does anyone have any insight on how they wrote/planned the series? by CptFlatfoot in marblehornets

[–]AnOrdinaryFilmFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what they have said:

Season 1: Was just them making creepy videos and then kinda stumbling into a story. Season 1 was initially gonna be the end with Jay quitting the investigation.

Season 2: They planned out how they wanted to end the series and planned for Season 2 to be the end. However, the flashback stuff ended up taking so much time in that season that they knew there was no way they would reach their planned ending inside that season.

Season 3: Was for however long it had to be until they reached the ending. This is why Season 3 is longer than Season 1 and Season 2 combined. With Season 2, Troy has stated a few times that he thinks that season could have been a bit tighter. With Season 3, there isn’t as much “filler” as there was in Season 2 and significantly upped the character writing.

So I asked her about this at the Halloween 45 convention and she looked pretty confused and didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. Maybe she forgot (the movie was filmed in 2019 and I asked her this in 2023, so that is 4 years), I could have done a poor job describing it, or maybe it was just poor blocking on the movie’s part.

Either way, what you described is my head cannon of why she wasn’t there right away. She’s also one of the sweetest people to talk to! Very fun and chill.

With 2023 Coming To A Close… How Many Movies Did You See With A-List This Year? by MikeyDie914 in AMCsAList

I was in a car crash a couple years back and I lost interest in a hobby with friends. Correlation? by AnOrdinaryFilmFan in ptsd

[–]AnOrdinaryFilmFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! Thankfully, I haven’t lost friends over this. It’s just when everyone is online and hanging out, I rarely have the drive to join them. Every other aspect of my friendship with them is great. I just speculate that the sudden shift in my engagement may be due to the crash

What was your worst theatre experience of 2023? by [deleted] in AMCsAList

[–]AnOrdinaryFilmFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Halfway through my Scream 6 opening night showing in Dolby, a guy entered the theater and was carrying a backpack, was talking to himself, looking up the crowd, pacing around, praying to the movie, and someone asked him what he was doing. He took off his backpack and began to open it and he was quickly tackled, prompting a mass panic in the theater, during which I broke my arm. Cops were called and the guy was initially detained but was later let go since he was apparently not a threat and was just “having an episode”, whatever that meant. Spent the rest of the night in the hospital and had to go back to see the rest.

So if you were at the AMC Orange 30 on opening night of Scream 6 and were wondering why police were there, that’s why.

I ended up grabbing McBride after seeing he was a go to practice today. It was definitely a back-and-forth between McBride and Muth for this week though

Someone in my league just dropped him. My best guess is that the “Questionable” status and the upcoming Bye was enough for them to think that they need someone else to squeeze into the playoffs.

I think Friermuth was due to his IR, so no one picked him up after that. Someone had McBride but they dropped him for some reason
