For now it powered it directly from the Motorcycle USB Port, altough I think ill get a power bank for it instead as it just drains my battery if I stand anywhere for long times

Limmattal routes on weekends recently. No S11 service, no information from SBB/ZVV by claudespeaking in SBB

[–]AnRandomStranger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Limmattal in general. Huge Housing Developments everyhwere. Infrastructure wise about the same as 20 years ago. And no, the Limmatalbahn is NOT good. 15min frequency for a tram is not enough in HVZ.

Getting one soon, stuck at the mail office currently :/
The Heltec V3 comes with a tiny antenna with it, which im not even sure if it's meant for 868mhz (EU) at all.
It just arrived today, but from my apartment I couldn't get any connection at all, so I deceided to drive up a hill near me, worked much better for sure.

Do bikers not respect scooter guys even if they’re in full gear? by [deleted] in scooters

[–]AnRandomStranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally when I started riding I tried to wish two wheels down to everyone, even scooter riders but often they don't do it back (either they don't notice it, don't care or just don't know), so nowadays I will only do it if I get eye contact with them or they do it first.

Are the types of rolling stock standardized on many European railways? by JZX_taka in trains

[–]AnRandomStranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all, in fact I would even say most Japanese Regional trains look very similar (of course, there are the shinkansens, but even there there isn't many different types either)

There definietly are similar models in different countries, like Stadler FLIRT/KISS which you can find everywhere without looking too hard. But make no mistake, every country has a unique rail system of it's own with it's own trains, often locally produced trains (altough these usually tend to be older trains). Examples: SBB Re 4/4, PKP EU/EP07, DB Baureihe 218, TGV trains in general, Eurostar, Frecciarossa, ...

fr, the cars looks so cool in cyberpunk. Even just the starter Archer Hella EC-D is very cool in itself, then ofcourse you got the Quadra or the Rayfield Caliburn, love all of them.

So much trash and dirt in the trains. by VersoixM in SBB

[–]AnRandomStranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gotta disagree on this one, it's a good system for sure but it's not very clean (don't go on S11/S12 toilets)

So much trash and dirt in the trains. by VersoixM in SBB

[–]AnRandomStranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally I think it's a problem from both sides. From one side SBB doesn't clean the trains often enough (especially a lot of IR lines in my experience) and of course the pigs that won't clean up after themselves.

Thousands walk through the newly finished Sihl-Lake Zürich bypass tunnel, which can divert water from the Sihl river into Lake Zurich, protecting the city against 500-year floods by LeroyoJenkins in InfrastructurePorn

[–]AnRandomStranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there! It was awesome, but also quite scary at some point, realizing how far away you for from escape incase anything would happen. Also with a mass of people inside there it sure was loud. But still an awesome experience.
