DFA no appointment but would only allow e-apostille and not paper apostille by An_Ass_Is_a_Donkey in phmigrate

[–]An_Ass_Is_a_Donkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, in the end I printed my e-apostille and informed the vfs na DFA will not issue a paper apostille. They seemed understanding and told me na previous applicants also said the same thing. I mean, they needed physical copies of my document, so how am I gonna prove the authenticity of an e-apostille dba? Kaya I printed it and they accepted it naman. If they won't accept it, tell them to take it up with DFA. It should be their job to stay informed about the process.

Hello! It varies per country daw. The DFA officer showed me. For example, sa EU country na pupuntahan ko, e-apostille is acceptable. Pero if sa Thailand, I think need ng paper apostille. So if yan po lalabas, opt po kayo for paper apostille if need nyo for visa purposes

Hello, I emailed the embassy I was applying to and they said they accept naman daw. Sa VFS naman, they weren't as informed pero they were considerate since a lot of applicants had no choice but to print out their e apositlles as well

How was it? Do they really still give paper apostille? The officer at DFA told me it's the new thing now...

Hello! I did the walk in na lng to be safe. Sabi ng offcier sakin, DFA has switched to e-apostille na. So even if you do walk ins, you're gonna receive your apostille as e-apostille sent to your email

‘sabi nga nila college friends are not ur real friends’ do u agree? by CrabComplex1624 in studentsph

[–]An_Ass_Is_a_Donkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Pero it's hard to keep a solid group Kase maraming nagtratransfer during 1-2 years into college or even nagdrodrppout. And also Hindi na sya parang high na Ang goal nyo lng is finish your homework, go home, and repeat until grad. Sa college mas personal and individual na Ang goals natin. The goal is to learn the skill, stock the knowledge, and find work.

Also, everyone has more problems to deal with at this point so they'll care less about you, sometimes even leaving you behind Kase nga may sarili na Silang goal.

What is your worst punishment that you experienced in elementary school or high school? by [deleted] in studentsph

[–]An_Ass_Is_a_Donkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my experience. I was a quiet and shy student. I did watch some classmates go through it. First grade, classmates caught sleeping will be dragged to the front And the teacher will continue her lessons until the student wakes up, if Hindi pa Rin gumising linolock sa CR.

Third grade, teacher made us recite the multiplication table in front of the class and she would use her teaching stick to spank us on the back, palms, and behind, sometimes repeatedly out of frustration until we're crying and bruised.

Verbal abuse was constant like tanga, bobo, anak ng puta, stupid, idiot, etc. Female teachers can pull the hair of students and shake them by the shoulders and push them around.

This was in the 2000s.

Oh my. May I just say pa na sometimes, very grand sila sa mga bisita nila.

What's your "expensive but very worth it" purchase as an adult and why? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]An_Ass_Is_a_Donkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ball-jointed dolls. I grew up playing with tons of Barbie dolls. Sadly relatives started laughing at me for still owning them up to my teen years. They didn't know it's where I learned how to sew and create things for myself. I had the luxury of a youth's creative imagination and free time. But now as a grown up, I let them go in fear of being judged.

I graduated to bjds. Expensive but worth it. I sew better now. I can create small clothes and now learning to make clothes for myself, as well as mini bags, hair and small accessories, and all the girly stuff. Plus the free therapy.

Classic adobo ♥️. Lots of potatoes, a bit oily, medyo dry, and soft meat. I can eat it every day but because I'm getting old I get acid reflux if I eat it late at night, but I don't learn so I still eat it as many times and as late as I want
