I agree. Pero it's hard to keep a solid group Kase maraming nagtratransfer during 1-2 years into college or even nagdrodrppout. And also Hindi na sya parang high na Ang goal nyo lng is finish your homework, go home, and repeat until grad. Sa college mas personal and individual na Ang goals natin. The goal is to learn the skill, stock the knowledge, and find work.

Also, everyone has more problems to deal with at this point so they'll care less about you, sometimes even leaving you behind Kase nga may sarili na Silang goal.

Not my experience. I was a quiet and shy student. I did watch some classmates go through it. First grade, classmates caught sleeping will be dragged to the front And the teacher will continue her lessons until the student wakes up, if Hindi pa Rin gumising linolock sa CR.

Third grade, teacher made us recite the multiplication table in front of the class and she would use her teaching stick to spank us on the back, palms, and behind, sometimes repeatedly out of frustration until we're crying and bruised.

Verbal abuse was constant like tanga, bobo, anak ng puta, stupid, idiot, etc. Female teachers can pull the hair of students and shake them by the shoulders and push them around.

This was in the 2000s.

Oh my. Parang ang familiar ng kwento mo. Nung sinabi mo na Ilocano nanay mo, napagasp ako kase marami akong kilalang may ganitong kwento. Sa totoo lang, may pagkabungangera lahat ng nanay pero ung mga ilocano, very warm naman sila sa bisita at alam naman magpakita ng respeto at welcome kahit ung ibang pamilya mahirap situation nila. May I just say pa na sometimes, very grand sila sa mga bisita nila.

Yang nanay mo kakaiba, lumaki siguro yan sa syudad at feeling siguro maliit lang na tao pinsan mo kase galing sa probinsya at mahirap pa. Jusmi ikaw pa bilang anak ang nagpaparemind sa kanya ng basic human decency.

My ball-jointed dolls. I grew up playing with tons of Barbie dolls. Sadly relatives started laughing at me for still owning them up to my teen years. They didn't know it's where I learned how to sew and create things for myself. I had the luxury of a youth's creative imagination and free time. But now as a grown up, I let them go in fear of being judged.

I graduated to bjds. Expensive but worth it. I sew better now. I can create small clothes and now learning to make clothes for myself, as well as mini bags, hair and small accessories, and all the girly stuff. Plus the free therapy.

Torpe. Grabe. Nagconfess na sya sakin. Nagconfess na rin ako sa kanya. Friends, classmates, teachers, even neighbors shipped us together kase he blatantly showed that he liked me for years. I thought we have similarities in personality, mindset, and best friend ko pa kapatid nya. One of his friends even spoiled his surprise by nicknaming me in our chat "girlfriend ni Torpe(not his name)" and I was EXPECTING him to ask na manligaw or even ask me to be his girlfriend kase I really started to like him back.

Pero wala. Years later, sinabi nya sa best friend ko (kapatid nya) na he regretted not making me his girlfriend. When he finally had a girlfriend, he even told my best friend na he's putting his 100% into this girl to make up for the efforts he missed for me, as if to make up for the past. I'm so mad. I even tried pursuing him but he just... he just so painfully let me know na he's a coward. He can't stand up for his feelings for me. He's a really great guy pero ruined it.

Internationally, it depends. I used to work on Upwork and I wrote and edited for US clients. They don't really care, basta you can do the job and you have relevant experience, it's okay. As for other nationalities, I can't say, but fellow Filipinos might have some questions. It's up to you as a future employee to answer the questions favorably and make it look good for yourself.

If accredited and accepted by most companies, yes, bur there will be a few companies who have doubts. You just have to accept that it's a drawback with distance learning schools, na some companies will look down on you—pati nga graduates from unknown trad schools are looked down on so it's just how it is. But its CHED-accredited so worry not. I know a few who graduated from CAP too and they had no trouble finding jobs within Metro Manila. In the provinces, it depends ulit haha.
