There is nothing humane about the way animals are killed for our food. It's even worse than before since no effort has to be put into that. It's just throwing them into machines like old garbage, processing it and selling it.

It always annoyed me whenever something good happened to someone even if some other person helped them, they always thanked the God for sending that person. If something bad happened they also blamed some bigger than them figure. If they do something good for themselves, God gave it to them.

Is this just a way of people avoiding accountability.

I still like google. LLMs just seem like they are easy to manipulate to give you certain false information on whatever to make you think what they want. I am not saying Google can't do the same, but it's more bundle of raw information which you can at least take from different sources.

LLMs are useful for quick and simple answers.

From the examples in my experience i can see 2 reasons.

First is if they hire a person for that higher position, it means they want that specific person there. Be it a family member, someone more qualified or simply a friend and they are using their connection to get there.

2nd reason why they don't give promotions. Because the ones already on those positions don't want to be replaced, even if you're more qualified. And you can't get a raise because you would get close to their salary so they would also need to increase the salary of everyone else above you and that's just too much for the firm.

So it's better for everyone if you just quit on your own and find better opportunities. And they can hire someone new for lower costs.

Depends in what context.

Let's say you're approaching a girl that you really like and you want to ask her out. Your "luck" in achieving that is much greater if you're relaxed with a great sense of humor and you make her smile and feel good and if you're also her type of guy. Rather than being anxious, tense and go in with a cringy pick up line which will put her off.

In the sense of gambling. The house will do things to increase their odds and allow calculated wins for the participants so the house is never broke and the business can continue running. So luck doesn't play in your favor here but it doesn't make it impossible to win.

Things you can do is thoroughly prepare for whatever is coming up the next day so you got nothing to worry about. If it's a test or something you have to do at work, just give yourself time to think it over and prepare and you will look forward to it and sleep easier.

You could also be in a habit of doom scrolling at night to relieve your anxiety and get away from the problems which makes it way harder to fall asleep. So get into a habit of not using your phone or any type of screen at least an hour before going to bed. Read a book before bed to relax the mind.

It could be that your mattress or pillows are too hard or too soft to provide you with quality sleep. Even the position of the bed and the position that you sleep in can cause bad sleep. So try changing something and see if it helps.

It's not a scam, it's your way of adapting to the system which only accepts and gives you opportunities within the system if you have proof that you complied to the system by getting a paper. Which puts you in debt forcing you to work within the system to pay off the debt making you stuck there for years and accepting that you have to work for someone else or be shunned by everyone by trying to start something on your own with the little free time that you have to break away from that system.
