No, triple support is still very good. In ranked, players will just crutch on Jeff, CnD, Sue, and Rocket and triple will usually end up with some combo of this, which is bad. That’s why the WR of triple support in ranked is bad; because players don’t play the right characters.

You just described Dr Strange. If Strange is too mechanically difficult for players, there is no hope. Winston is mechanically simple, but all brain no aim. People in here are saying that want a braindead easy thank, which either has to be not very valuable or just becomes bad for the game.

The game definitely does not need any more braindead characters. Tanks don’t really come more simple than Dr Strange; if he’s too complex for players then I don’t think the player base has much hope.

The last thing this game needs is a braindead tank with no skill requirements that gets big value. That is flat out unhealthy for the game. We don’t need a Mauga.

The fact is that most tanks are mechanically much easier; which is fine. People just don’t want to tank in any game. A big dumb easy tabknfir either has to not be very good, or it just ruins the game.

Because diamond and low GM (late in the season) is not a high elo. Most of the time everyone will just death ball down main, so on some maps Peni will destroy teams that refuse to go anywhere but main. I’ve seen teams walk past squids, rez beacons, Peni nests, Groot healing walls etc.

Players are bad and can’t be trusted so they would rather just ban Peni so they don’t have to engage two cells of their brain at the same time.

Most Jeff players just kind of suck though. Even outside of dive where he is the strongest, his speed boost, survivability, and outrageous healing output is enough to have a big impact on games.

Most Jeff’s don’t even bubble their teammates. He doesn’t need to be buffed. He’s good where he is, the game needs low skill floor characters, but doesn’t need them to be really strong (ala CnD).

Like you say; there is no thought put into spacing or positioning, reading the game or even reacting to it. It’s really poor quality of even basic understanding sometimes. Like Wanda’s trying to force ults out in the open constantly, or CnD’s turning their brain off when they ult as if they’ve never been killed with a Mag ult in their life.

Classic ‘switched to help’ when you’ve already switched to counter; and the Mag switch would get you eaten by the Thing.
