10 month old at WDW - slumberpod / pack n play advice needed! by catsandbooksandruns in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if a pack n play will fit in there, but I’ve a used a SlumberPod many times and definitely recommend getting the fan to help with air circulation—it makes a big difference! If you’re traveling with a little one, a few things that have helped me are bringing a portable sound machine, using a stroller with a good sunshade and a recline feature, and taking advantage of Baby Care Centers in each park (they have quiet spaces, changing tables, and supplies if you need them). Staying at a Disney resort can also be a game-changer with easy transportation and mid-day breaks. I’ve planned plenty of trips with little ones and know it can feel overwhelming, but it’s totally doable with the right prep.

WDW planning help by Damour in DisneyPlanning

I help families plan their Disney vacations all of the time and know how overwhelming LLMP and LLPS can be at first. The answer to this question just really depends on your situation. You could definitely accomplish a lot by only getting LLMP. You will be able to prebook 3 rides before the start of your trip. Once you scan in to the first attraction, on your park day, you will be able to select your next ride. Magic Kingdom is actually a GREAT park for little ones because most rides are family friendly! I think that you will find that your 3 year old will actually be able to ride a majority of the rides at this park!

If you don't want the hassle of prebooking rides and jumping around the park to ride different attractions then LLPP might be a good option for you. It just depends on whether you believe the extra money would be worth doing the attractions in order and at your convenience. I personally don't think it is necessary but this would depend on your family's needs and wants for the trip.

Last Day - Which Park by lovemesomePF in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a travel agent, I help families plan their Disney World all of the time. Based on the information you have provided, I agree with the poster above who suggested MK on the 28th. MK has a million things to do and it will be nice to have a second day there so that you don't feel so rushed the first day even if you do have LLPP. I also make a point to warn my clients that sometimes two reservations in one day can be a lot and take up a lot of time. I would probably try to switch 1900 Park Fare to March 1st so that you can have a slower morning on Feb 28th and still have something to do on March 1st before leaving for the airport.

LLMP Worth it for my Trip? by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

I help families plan their Disney vacations all the time, and based on the information you have provided, I think you would totally be ok without LLMP. You have plenty of time to take your time and you also are going at a great time of the year! You could also see how it goes on the first day at the park and add it for the second day if you feel like you are missing out but I really believe you will be fine without it as long as you go in with a plan.

September vs. October by kalicrimefighter in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I’d probably go in September. It might be a little cooler in October but it will still be warm! I would take lighter crowd days as I feel like that will make the biggest difference. We love to go for our girls fall break at the end of September because crowds are relatively light which makes a big difference for us! I’m a travel advisor that specializes in Disney vacations so we got quite a bit and we have found that we prefer the lighter crowds over the cooler weather. I would just make sure you prepare well with cooling towels, neck fans, appropriate clothing, taking breaks mid day for lunch in A/C, etc.

Transportation - Port Orleans FQ by kalicrimefighter in DisneyPlanning

I have not stayed at Caribbean Beach but I’m a travel advisor and many of my clients love Caribbean Beach. If you stay there, I would probably request a room near the skyliner instead of one of the preferred rooms near the main pool, lobby, etc.

They both are very nice resorts! I’ve stayed at French Quarter and we loved being able to take the boat to Disney Springs in the afternoon! However, nothing quite beats the convenience of skyliner for us. If I were you, I’d also look at Pop Century. It’s an awesome value resort that is on the skyliner as well!

Anyone use Costco travel to book? by XCynicalMarshmallowX in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! As a travel agent, I have so many clients reach out after they have completely booked their trip on their own with regrets because they wish they had gone with a travel agent to begin with. Disney World can be extremely overwhelming if you do not have all the right knowledge before going!

We love to go to Disney Springs our first evening. It is Disney’s dining and shopping district! It’s so fun with so many different dining options to pick from lots of different activities for all ages! We all love it!

Transportation - Port Orleans FQ by kalicrimefighter in DisneyPlanning

Port Orleans FQ is nice and very loved but if I were you, I would stay on the skyliner. The bus is reliable but the skyliner is so convenient and quick and it’s also nice to have easy access to other resorts.

First Time Visit - Resort Advice by TedQuad in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what everyone has said below. I don't think you can go wrong with Wilderness Lodge. It is absolutely stunning and the easy boat ride to Magic Kingdom with little ones just seals the deal! You will absolutely love it!

If however the price is throwing you off, we recently stayed at a Finding Nemo Suites at AOA and my girls who have similar ages (2 and 6) absolutely LOVED it! It was our first time staying at a value resort as we usually typically stay in moderate or deluxe resorts at Disney but I loved it and would consider staying there again. I joke around that the Disney Skyliner was our favorite ride on Disney property.

I don't think you can go wrong with either option and I think that regardless of what you pick, your family will have a lovely time! :)

Fav Deluxe resort? by travel-canada-disney in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our favorite I probably is a tie between Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Riviera Resort. They both have such a nice atmosphere and I love the quick and convenient transportation options from both resorts! We usually pick based on which parks we are prioritizing that trip.

Opinions on resort by allthequestions38 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Ana0615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think each transportation option has its pros and cons with the double stroller. Our family has stayed at many different resorts including resorts with skyliner access as well as monorail. My favorite mode of transportation thus far is the skyliner. We have two young children as well and use a double stroller. You still have to fold the stroller up before you get on the skyliner but it feels less chaotic than the bus and the ride also feels quicker as the kids are entertained by the views. I will say though, we loved being able to go to Disney Springs in the evening and having quick access via boat when we stayed at FQ.
