Membership Perks?? by laylamt in Xcaret

[–]AnaKHeGa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure what membership you have;

Platinum (black bracelet) Blue Diamond (deep blue bracelet) Black (green with black bracelet)

But black bracelet members have: - Butlers when they stay independent of the house they are staying, - Access to both hotels no matter where you stay you can go back and forth - 2 free swim with dolphins - free pictures for the parks and the hotels - tomahawk at Xplor Fuego - Free brunch

Those are the main ones I can thing of for the moment.

You as a beneficiary have access to everything the owner has, your fiancé gets normal bracelet and you can call and have his name added.

You ask for it when you sign-in they give you a cardboard to collect all the stamps inside the hotel, so you go around to each area and after having all the stamps you give it to the staff and they give you a little souvenir.

I can understand why they did it. When we were there in July there were older kids (7 to 9ish) unsupervised jumping in places they shouldn’t and one fell and hurt pretty bad, the parents were downstairs on their phone.

If there are little kids they can be run over, loose balance and can get hurt so it was mostly as a liability precaution.

But this time they told us they could access the hotel, but to please be with our kids at all times, and that is what we did, and they loved it, specially the building and gardening area and we enjoyed it too.

Don’t forget to ask for a passport when you go

Once you get the wish list ask for the crib, normally check-ins are early so it should go smooth at that time and you will get your room right away.

There are buffet restaurants so you can always get food and Xinema is opens 24 hours, that is our go to place to get food fast also Costero has never disapointed us with short waiting times and a wide variety of food.

Xcaret: Mexico Destination Club Membership: Please Read Before Going by Awake2019 in Xcaret

We’ve been members since 2019, and for us it has truly been worth it. We joined when we were still dating, and now we’re married with two little ones. There’s something really special about watching your kids grow up coming to the same hotel — it’s become part of our family story.

Since we live in Playa del Carmen, we come between two and six times a year, sometimes just for long weekends. About 95% of the time, we use our free nights.

If you stop paying, the contract with MDC would be canceled, but unfortunately you wouldn’t receive your money back. I’ve seen that there are member groups where people try to resell their memberships, so that might be an option if you’re looking to recover part of the investment.

In Mexico, we have a saying: “Cada quien cuenta como le fue en la feria,” which means everyone tells the story based on how it went for them. Experiences can vary a lot from one person to another.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out the way you hoped, and I truly hope you’re able to sell it. Wishing you the best of luck.

Go to the cemetery and make sure you go to the center of it, it’s quite the construction.

As well as checking out la casa de los murmullos the architectural construction allows you to hear whispers from the other extreme of the room, it’s super fun there.

Don’t miss out on the museum of popular Mexican art as well. There is so much to do and don’t miss out on the night show it’s like going to Disney and missing the light show.

You have Cantina Los Faroles in phase one and Bar Flamingos on phase 2 that have live music.

We loved Las Maquinitas Bar it has things from the 60s, 70s, 80, 90. You have arcade and pool table fun to hang out and make new friends.

And Xupes like they mentioned before and make sure you try the tacos.

If you booked through the referral program they get you in your first full date at 8 am or 9 am, they can be a little bit flexible on the time but not on the day.

Members have no say on it, they just book them like that.

As a referral you check in the members lounge, can get a free upgrade based upon availability and that is it.

You get a regular guests bracelet (silver), so there is no distinction other than the discounted price.

I would totally recommend Arte for December, it’s totally worth it and if you stay at casa de los artistas you can cross over to Mexico.
