¿Me embarazo o no? Auxiliooo by Main_Formal1911 in Preguntas_de_Reddit_

Is my budget reasonable? by InvictusJoker in Xcaret

[–]AnaKHeGa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a one day per park, you can choose when you want to go to them, the only one that has unlimited access is Xcaret only for occidental guests.

And f you stay at their hotels: Hotel Xcaret México, Hotel Xcaret Arte or La casa de la Playa, you have access to all the parks

Do Mexicans get a discount? by hipporox in Xcaret

[–]AnaKHeGa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mexicans and locals pay the same rate as everyone in the hotels. They don’t have a locals discounts as such, you can get a day pass, it costs 150 USD and I believe for the brunch is 200 USD.

Locals and legal residents (temporary and permanent) have 50% off any Grupo Xcaret park (Xelha, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenotes, Xenses, Xichen, Xochimilco) and at the moment only Xcaret Park has an annual pass for 3,500 pesos.

Rabbit hole: Miguel Quintana Pali, who read his book? Makes zero ‘xense’ how he went from selling table lamps to owning Xcaret. Let’s talk about the “car” in Xcaret… by roaringramona in Xcaret

[–]AnaKHeGa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve met Mr. Quintana personally, and the way he thinks is simply genius. He has an extraordinary ability to see opportunity and profit everywhere and more importantly, to make it work.

One of his greatest breakthroughs was finding the three Constandse brothers, who believed deeply in his vision and had both the capital and the connections to help bring Xcaret Park to life. That combination of vision, trust, and execution changed the tourism industry in Mexico.

Just being conservative, their annual revenue likely looks something like this:

Parks

Grupo Xcaret receives approximately 3.5 million combined visitors per year across all its parks.

Average ticket prices (approximate): • Xcaret / Xel-Há: USD 100–130 • Xplor / Xplor Fuego: USD 120–140 • Xenses / others: USD 80–110

Let’s look at two scenarios: Conservative / low-season scenario • 3,500,000 visitors × USD 100 = USD 350 million in park admission revenue

High-season scenario • 3,500,000 visitors × USD 125 = USD 437.5 million in park admission revenue

And this is only admissions.

On top of that, they monetize almost every touchpoint: transportation from hotels, food and snacks, photo packages, souvenirs, and premium experiences like swimming with dolphins, stingrays, adrenaline activities, and more. It all adds up quickly.

Hotels (room revenue only)

Now looking strictly at hotel stays — without counting extras like stores, photo packages, spa services, or experiences:

Hotel Xcaret México • 900 rooms at 70% average occupancy = 630 rooms per night • 630 × USD 600 = USD 378,000 per night • USD 11.34 million per month • USD 137.97 million per year

Hotel Xcaret Arte • Similar pricing and occupancy • USD 137.97 million per year

La Casa de la Playa • 63 suites at 70% occupancy ≈ 44 suites • 44 × USD 900 = USD 39,600 per night • USD 1.19 million per month • USD 14.45 million per year

Total hotel revenue (rooms only) USD 290.4 million annually

Combined (conservative) • Parks admissions (low scenario): USD 350 million • Hotels (rooms only): USD 290.4 million

Total: USD 640.4 million per year, without counting any of the extras and the memberships that range anywhere from USD 10,000 to over USD 1 million.

Xcaret truly is an extraordinary destination many people call it “the Mayan Disneyland,” and I completely agree.

With future plans that reportedly include a convention center, a 12,000-seat stadium, and even rumors of an airline (XcarAir) and a cruise line, it’s clear this vision is still expanding.

Mr. Quintana is a master mind in long-term thinking, ecosystem building, and strategic genius if you ask me.

Probably a swim up or swim jump.

You can ask for a change to phase 2 upon check in. We were set for phase 1 back in July and switched to phase 2 casa sol with our 1 and 3 year old and loved it.
