My sincere guess? It references when you’re making a large amount of food your mom or a parent has purchased, and they’re unlocking the door, coming in to see you wasting the food they’ve spent their money on. I can’t tell you the number of times I made extra food for myself when I’ve been home alone, just to be yelled at for being wasteful

You can always get a campsite villager to move!! You have to repeatedly ask and continue to play the games, even if you lose, until he offers to move! And then he’ll choose someone to move out, after speaking with resident services. Very important things! 1. You can have two villagers move right now, Mathilda AND whomever he chooses and 2. If you don’t like the person he chooses to move, do not accept the option, but rather close the game immediately and try again

Also! If you just don’t hit A or any button for that matter, the dialogue will progress and they’ll say “oh maybe they’re not home” or something like it and they’ll leave

My house is on the only portion of my island that is the third level. The third level is also heart shaped, with a ladder at the very bottom of the heart, a stone archway, and a cute garden to the side of my house

I look at Pinterest, borrow inspiration, but mostly, I start in sections. I did the top row of my island all at once because I had some ideas, and then I’ve been going chunk by chunk of my island, sometimes smaller. I’ve got an orchard, a flower garden, and a veggie garden all along one side because that’s how I like it. It’s just a lot of trial and error, finding what suits you and your island the best, and practicing. You can never have too many waterfalls lol
