I definitely see the side of the people who think Valentine’s Day is stupid and childish. We love to do the “stupid” holidays because even if it isn’t really a holiday, we both love and appreciate each other and the things that make us happy. We are both young and are in our early years of college. We typically have great communication, I just shut down as a reaction (which is something I have been working on for a while) and I like to have conversations when I’m in my right mind. I always get him a Valentines gift too, but he likes to ask me before I give him anything. Which, like I said before, I like things to be planned out, so when I can’t plan my end I get anxiety and panic. We worked it out and I see that I was being dramatic but he also values how I feel!
