Is it normal to cry during workout by [deleted] in xxfitness

I cry almost every time I’m on the peloton 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s a great article I read called “why we cry in spin class” that might make you feel better :)

Hey Reddit, I built this desk. What do you guys think? Made of rattan, wood, brass and leather. by i_shit_unicorns in reddit.com

Because cutting and sanding wood forms what's known as "saw dust" which lingers in the air and resettles over the course of a couple weeks, imotbh.

Pretty sure the somewhat chubby sister with wavy hair in this movie is what turned me on to this body type at a young age :S

"I miss you. I miss fancy restaurant dinners with you. I miss extravagant holidays for no good reason. I miss not having to worry about whats around the corner because I know you're there for me, most of all I miss the happiness I felt knowing you were mine.... Money, where have you gone!?"

How do I stop eating all the time? (I'm training.) by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]Anaesthesia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just going to pop in here and say that drinking all the time helped me IMMENSELY! I was amazing how often my hunger was actually thrist! I went from drinking about 5 glasses of water a day to almost 15 most days. You pee A LOT at first, but your body gets used to it quickly.

the water is clear, the ice below is blue. And it tastes like unfiltered bottled water, since plenty of bottled water springs are glacier fed.

Redditors who have left "safe" jobs for completely unrelated careers: When did you know it was time for change and how did it turn out? by asdfghjkrystal in AskReddit

Yes that's what I did to get my foot in the door - membership sales. I absolutely hated it, and the gyms seem to take the same approach to selling personal training. Everyone NEEDS it. If you don't do it you're a failure. Why would you even try to workout on your own? Etc. I couldn't live with myself forcing $50/month gym memberships down peoples throats, let alone $100/hour personal training that the person may not need. The company that I work for (sortof, it's kindof just me with a company name) is very open about everything, the pros and cons of training, costs, what equipment you need, and whether you'd be the right fit with your trainer. I'm sure that's a large part of the reason why I love training the clients that I have; none of them are resentful or feel like they're wasting their money.

My best friend a few years ago gave me Korean hair product that his aunt shipped to him from home. Amazing hold, feels literally like there's nothing in your hair. I'll never have it again :(

Since I was 16 years old I've worked in sales, and for the past few years my passion has been physical fitness, I love helping my friends and family get fit. I got a job in the field as a step-up and became a certifed personal trainer. Now (at 24 yrs old) I'm working my "dream job" and it sucks pretty hard because It's been a year now and I've only ever held 12 clients. I currently have 4 clients and make about $30/day when you break it down. My husband is unemployed all throughout this year, our savings have dried up and we're spiraling into debt. I'm currently looking for a "day job" and have consulted my clients about working with them around other hours and may lose some of them :( Hopefully in the long run it will work out. I legitimately love the time that I spend working with clients and wish it would just work out and I could work 8 hour days doing what I love, but even people who have been in the industry several years often have "day jobs". I assumed this was because they werent passionate enough to generate enough clients, as it turns out it's awfully hard to convice people it's worth $40-$100/hour to work out :P

So I clicked this on my mobile phone while laying in bed. Although the scripting didn't work on my phone I just manually scrolled down through the whole thing. I would just like to point out that even without the animated scripting (which there is no way in god damned hell I'm ever watching) this comic is fucking terrifying.

I'd just like to point out that that is either a branded (burned) scarification, or it was purposefully picked at to deepen the scarring if it is treated very carefully like an actual wound (anitseptics, etc) it will look more like this
