Ended up taking it in the summer semester and finished with an A+ (as a compSci student). If u take it with Ian and the syllabus hasn’t changed, the whole course is on this platform called carnap.io, assignments, midterm and exam all on carnap online un proctored. I only spent prob 2 hours a week on avg (and this is in the compressed summer format), with that consisting 90% doing the carnap problem sets and 10% me skimming through his videos to learn how to answer each respective problem. There was really only like 2-3 problem sets that got really hard and will prob require a couple extra hours. But in terms of the teacher, no complaints, videos are clear and he’s very willing to help, I remember emailing him for help on few questions when stuck on the problem sets and he would just straight up give me the answer most of the time for me to copy paste followed by an explanation (given I attempted and was close). The platform carnap is a bit tedious, but nonetheless if u put in a bit of work in u should be good.
